Match #1: Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. Edge | One on One Normal Match
Brock wasn't exactly happy about Edge's words in their last encounter and demanded the #1 contender come down to face him in a non-title match to start off RAW. Edge obliged and as soon as the bell rang, Lesnar was all over him, clubbing him over the head repeatedly in the corner. Edge rolled out of the ring as Brock strutted around with pride and crawled around to the apron to grab a bat from underneath it. When Lesnar came out after him, Edge clocked the champ over the head with the bat, then hit him over and over again with it, drawing blood from the Beast. Heyman could only look on in horror as his client was brutalized by his challenger just weeks ahead of their PPV clash.

Match #2: Chris Benoit vs. Christian | One on One Normal Match
Christian put up a good fight against Benoit early, using some elusive moves to put the Rabid Wolverine off his game. But eventually, Benoit's skill was just too much for Christian. While Christian was able to get out of his first Crippler Crossface attempt by getting his foot on the ropes, a second one after a series of German Suplexes would prove too much for him as Benoit picked up another impressive victory. After the match, John Cena came out with his title over his shoulder and a mic in hand, and stood face to face with Benoit in the ring, "You know what Chris, I like what I just saw. You want a shot at the US Title at Mania? You wanna come at the king? You best not miss. You're on." Cena raised the title high while Benoit pointed at it with serious determination.

Backstage Segment: Shawn Michaels
One half of the tag team champions, Shawn Michaels, was walking around backstage casually, taking in the scenery. Triple H was off tonight and not on RAW so Shawn had decided to take a break as well. Or so he thought. Out of nowhere seemingly, HBK was jumped by one half of the nWo and his former tag team partner as part of Two Dudes with Attitude, Kevin Nash. HBK tried to defend himself but the element of surprise had put him at too much of a disadvantage. Nash slammed him into the lockers before taking him to the catering area where he blasted Michaels several times with a steel chair. Finally, Nash Jackknife powerbombed HBK through the catering table, leaving him in the wreckage and walking away.

Match #3: Beth Phoenix vs. Maria Kanellis | One on One Normal Match
Maria Kanellis wanted a rematch against Beth Phoenix after Beth had pinned her last week to become the #1 Contender for the Women's Championship. This one was over almost as quickly as it started. Maria got no offense in as Beth squashed her, ending things with a Glam Slam after locking Maria in a painful Torture Rack submission to pick up the easy victory. After the match, Lita ran in head first to try and attack Beth Phoenix and it backfired. Phoenix countered her punch, then applied a Torture Rack to Lita as well before dropping her to the mat. She was just about to go for a Glam Slam to put down the Women's Champion for good, but Lita scrambled away to live to fight another day as Beth smiled at the fear she'd struck into the champ.

Main Event: Sting vs. Goldberg | One on One Normal Match
Sting was intent to prove that he deserved a spot at Wrestlemania and he did that by calling out Goldberg, one of the top stars in the company since he joined and also a former rival of his back in WCW. Sting was in a different kind of space, and though he'd previously struggled against Goldberg, his newfound resolve helped keep things more even. Things started to shift in the Icon's favour when he hit a piledriver and then locked Goldberg in the Scorpion Deathlock, but Goldberg was able to power out of it. From there it was all Goldberg. His superior strength started to give him a major advantage and he tossed Sting around the ring with ease before lining up a Spear. It looked like the move connected but Goldberg was the one damaged by it as at the last second, Sting countered it into a DDT. Then Sting picked up the dazed Goldberg and hit him with the Scorpion Death Drop. 1... 2... 3! Sting had won and become the first person to pin Goldberg clean since he joined the WWE. After the match, Sting grabbed a microphone and spoke again, "See Vince McMahon. THIS is what I'm capable of when I'm given a platform. There's a reason they call me 'The Icon'. But Goldberg wasn't my goal. No, no, no. I'm thinking bigger. In fact, the man I want to face at Wrestlemania knows exactly who he is. There was a pause and then some confused silence from the crowd until... "DONG" that eerie sound that kicked off the Undertaker's entrance music started to play. He was no longer the American Badass, he was back to being the Deadman. Taker stayed on the stage though, staring ominously at Sting as the latter beckoned him to come to the ring and face him as the show faded to black.

CC: I'd post some highlights of the main event so it's not just so text heavy. A description of the match as well for the main event if you don't feel like spending time editing.
