Caesar talked about a fictional bball league in 2K but didn't like the options. I played with it some today and I think I'm going to give it a whirl.

Step one is to pick the cities. Have to keep the NBA division structure and I dont want to use any current cities. Here is a list of the available cities:

Vancouver, Montreal, San Jose, Fresno, San Diego, Anaheim, Long Beach, Honolulu, Anchorage, Mesa, Tucson, Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, El Paso, Austin, Fort Worth, Omaha, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville, Athens, Jacksonville, Tampa, Raleigh, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, East Rutherford, Bronx, Hartford, Providence, Seattle, Oakland.

Here's how the teams in the East would be divided up: (Wouldn't use all the cities, just want to divide them all up and decide what makes sense for each division. Would start at 30, 5 per division.)

Atlantic(Northeast): Bronx, Buffalo, East Rutherford, Hartford, Providence, Montreal

Central: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Pittsburgh, St. Louis

Southeast: Athens, Jacksonville, Nashville, Raleigh, Richmond, Tampa, Virginia Beach

These are the teams I used on my test run, obviously some of won't fit with my added restrictions

ok put this together last night, planning to tweak a few things, also the pacific is the midwest division

1. rebrand seattle to a unique setup
2. get colorado springs in, probably in place of one of the northeast california teams
3. mesa to arizona to match the logo
4. find something for Albuquerque that wouldnt get cancelled, maybe swap for colorado springs if all else fails
5. rebrand tampa

san jose to colorado springs looks to be the move
