Ducks Bow Out at the end to USF 28-24
The Oregon Ducks were on the verge of doing something that nearly forty other teams have tried and failed. But in the end, the power of Raymond James Stadium prevailed.
USF outscored Oregon 21-10 in the second half, including shutting out the Ducks offense for the last seven minutes of the game on their way to a 28-24 victory and extend the Bulls home-game winning streak to 37.
Oregon had taken a 21-7 lead with 6:45 left in the first half but back to back touchdowns by quarterbacks Nick Williams and Jed White helped tie the game heading in the fourth quarter.

Lot closer of a game than I am sure you anticipated. How are you feeling about what seems like a two-quarterback system? Running with one and passing with the other.

Having to use USF's playbook again is triggering me so I'm expecting a few lower scoring games early on so not surprised they've been close. I wouldn't call it a two QB system, White is more of a gadget player and ideally, I see it similar to Corral - Plumlee at Ole Miss.

Hurricanes Rally To Beat Bulls Amid Williams Injury
After a controversial recruitment process that saw the local, highly touted program decommit from the hometown program, the stage was set for Jed White's homecoming to be perfect following his go-ahead touchdown with 2:39 left in the game.
Derek Garrison and the Miami Hurricanes had different plans, scoring ten points in the final sixteen seconds of the game to upset the Bulls 38-35 and hand them their first lover in almost two years.
White, who replaced the injured Nick Williams who left the game due to the concussion protocol, had thrown his third touchdown of the game when he found Steve Townsend across the middle from 27 yards out.
When Miami scored with 16 seconds left in the game, USF wasn't willing to settle for overtime. USF wide receivers Jason Barbour and Darius Downs had been able to get behind safeties Tyrone Greer and Mike Williams all game and on the first play of the ensuing drive, White threw a deep pass to Barbour after a hard play fake, only for Greer to stay step for step with the receiver over the top, intercepting the pass and returning the interception to the 17-yard line with exactly one second left on the clock.
Miami was then able to kick the game-winning, walk off field goal.
