USF QB White back at practice on Wednesday, expected to start at Georgia
Cooper Byrd -- Dynasty Sports Staff Writer
USF's Heisman winning quarterback Jed White was a full-participant at practice on Wednesday, setting the stage for the junior quarterback to return to action against the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday.
White missed the second half of the Bulls' win over Kentucky last week with an apparent arm injury and during Monday's portion of practice that was open to the public, White was present but wearing a brace on his right bicep and did not throw the ball during the 30-minute period that the media was allowed to watch and film.
Despite missing 1/6th of the season so far, White is still the favorite according to Vegas to win the Heisman and his teammate Corey Montgomery has started to gain some buzz as well with seven total touchdowns in three games.

Tampa is Buzzing Following a 58-26 Win Over Georgia
Sanford Stadium was rocking. It was a night game where the number two team in the nation looked sluggish with three straight three-and-outs to begin the game. The perfect recipe for an upset in front of a raucous crowd.
You could hear a pin drop within a ten mile radius of Athens, Georgia by the end of the night.
The USF Bulls did what they do, turned it on from the second quarter on, going on a 58-9 run to beat the Bulldogs soundly 58-26 on Saturday night.
When it rained, it poured on the Bulldogs who even when they got an interception after two straight USF touchdowns to make the game 17-14, Georgia defensive back Sean Taylor tried to elude the receiver and found himself in his own endzone to be tackled by J.J. Francois on the safety to cut the Bulldogs lead to one.
The interception would end up back firing on the Bulldogs some more as Jed White would lead the Bulls down the field, scoring on a 14-yard screen pass to Jason Finley for their first lead of the game.
The Bulldogs responded with a field goal before the end of the half but that would be all they'd have left in their arsenal for the rest of the game, scoring two more field goals while the Bulls scored five more touchdowns, including a pick-six to send most of Sanford Stadium home with five minutes left in the game.

Bulls lose local defensive end prospect James Bush to Florida Atlantic
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider
In recruiting, you can't win all the battles but defensive end James Bush's commitment to Florida Atlantic is one that has folks scratching their heads.
Bush, who is the 10th ranked defensive end prospect according to 247Sports, chose the Owls over offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and even the hometown Bulls.
A Carrollwood product, he was teammates with current Bulls tight end Jean-Jacques Francois and center Jason Harrington so his commitment comes as a bit of a surprise.
The Bulls will try to get back on track at the position with five-star Jason Hamilton set to be on campus this weekend. Hamilton, who is listed at six-foot-four and 248 pounds, is an off-ball, do it all linebacker out of Ocoee, Florida that most recruiting services view as a pass rusher at the next level.
He'll be on his official visit this weekend along with four-star tight end Lance Fields, four-star linebacker Mike Jackson, four-star defensive tackle Kevin Simon and four-star quarterback Todd Woods.
The Bulls are also trying to get out of state target Brent Slaughter to come down for a visit. It might be tough and go for the Illinois native but when speaking to those within the program, they feel confident that Slaughter will be in attendance for the game against Ole Miss.

USF Walks Off With a 42-29 Victory Over Ole Miss, Extend Home Winning Streak to 48
If you're going to win 48 straight games at home across several different senior classes, you need to win games however you can.
It wasn't pretty nor steady but the USF Bulls got it done against visiting Ole Miss, beating the Rebels 42-29 on Saturday to extend their home winning streak to 48, four shy of the NCAA record.
As usual, the Bulls got off to a rocky start with Jason Finley fumbling on the first possession which led to a touchdown by Ole Miss. The Bulls didn't take a quarter to get things going, however, scoring on their next possession to tie the game and when they surrendered another touchdown in the first quarter and Jed White threw his first interception of the day, the defense was able to tie the game with a pick six.
The Bulls turned the ball over six times, including three interceptions from White with one of them coming off a dropped pass. But the Bulls were able to do more with their two turnovers, bringing both back for a touchdown including Jonathan Mirvil's pick six with 5:16 left in the game to make it 35-26.
The defense then held Ole Miss to a field goal before USF's running attack iced the game as White scored on a rushing touchdown with 48 seconds left.
