New Jersey CB commits to Oklahoma State but Bulls continue hot run at receiver while Wayne saga continues
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider

Oklahoma State landed a talented corner in three-star cornerback Mark Gray who USF had been targeting all cycle and was in a good position to land the six-foot-one, athletic corner out of Wayne, New Jersey.

Gray's commitment to Oklahoma State was lessened by the news of four-star receiver Marco Mason would be committing to the Bulls. Mason is listed at six-foot-two and 221 pounds and gives USF their fourth receiver in the class, not counting five-star athlete Trey Davis. The other four are all four-stars in Joel Green, Scott Kimbrough and Mike Holmes.

Holmes is a straight speedster with 4.36 speed while Green and Kimbrough are bigger receivers that are more runners than true route runners. Mason is a blend with his powerful frame with still elite top end speed having clocked in a 4.40 forty time during his junior season.

Shortly after Gray's commitment, 'former' USF target tight end Joe Wayne released a top two which included just SMU and UL-Monroe. Within a few hours, Wayne deleted the post and posted a new top three which included the Bulls. According to reports, head coach Malcolm Francois drove down to Brownsville, Texas during the bye week to meet with Wayne.

Zac White! Coming out party with that catch and overall performance. Better see that dude in the heisman race next year.

Huge win to get to #3. I'm feeling a Penn State natty though this time around. Their road was tough as nails and they've stepped up big.
