Coach Singleton's Notes:
‣ They've improved in recent weeks, beating Iowa and UCLA and then playing Washington and USC tough after starting the season with a loss to a FCS team
‣ Not much talent at receiver and not much of a threat in the passing game but Swanson is a dynamic athlete at the quarterback position, need to keep him bottled in

Coach Singleton's Post Game
Q: Amare Snowden got beat twice for touchdowns, early in the game, we didn't see him again. Was that a benching of one of your more experienced players?
A: We needed to be able to play man, specifically man with pressure so we went with guys that were better equipped or at least I thought were better skilled for that role.

Q: Rico Hoese scored three times, both on long touchdowns when he was in single coverage. We saw you guys try different guys on him, was he a tougher matchup than you anticipated?
A: I felt like we did a pretty good job overall in zone today, just really struggled in press man and as much as I want to stand up and take the heat for the guys, you mean to tell me we can't cover a freshman receiver a few times a game in press without giving up a touchdown? We're better than that and if we're not, we need to be better than that.

Q: A follow up question, is Amare Snowden still a starter after today's benching?
A: We like Amare, he's done really well for us so he's still an important piece of what we're doing.

vs. Minnesota (4-5)
