Rodgers washed

I TOLD YOU THE WHEELS WERE COMING OFF IN THE 2nd HALF BUT NAH NO ONE LISTENED TO ME
Unfortunately, very washed. Can't get outside the pocket much and the line doesn't hold up for long so going against higher level defenses we've got to dink and dunk and hope for an explosive play

TJ Watt Nears History - But Is It Enough For Steelers Playoff Hopes?

Pittsburgh, PA. - Through 10 games of the 2025 season, T.J. Watt has already racked up 21.5 sacks. At this point, the question isn’t if he’ll claim the NFL’s single-season sack record, but when. For many in Pittsburgh, he should already own it after a disputed ruling cost him what would have been his 23rd sack a few years back. Regardless, the chase to finally surpass Michael Strahan is now center stage.
But Watt’s historic run raises a larger question: can it actually change the Steelers’ fortunes?
On paper, Watt and the defense are doing their part. Pittsburgh leads the league in both sacks and rush defense. Yet they’re still giving up 29.1 points per game—one of the worst marks in the NFL. The issue isn’t effort; it’s exposure. With a league-worst –8 turnover differential, largely fueled by Aaron Rodgers’ league-high 18 interceptions, the defense is being asked to do too much.
“You can’t make excuses,” Watt told reporters after Sunday’s loss. “We’ve simply got to get some more stops. Watching guys hit a 35-yard completion right after we come up with a sack—it’s demoralizing. Not pointing fingers, but we’ve got to be better as a unit. This is Pittsburgh. It begins and ends with the defense, period.”
If the season ended today, the Steelers would still be a playoff team. The problem? The road ahead looks brutal. With matchups against Buffalo, Detroit, and a home-and-home with Baltimore, Pittsburgh could easily stumble through the final six weeks without significant improvement from the offense. Asking Watt alone to hold everything together is a recipe for more frustration than glory.
This Sunday, the Steelers host the Bills at Acrisure Stadium, where Watt could etch his name into the record books in front of the home crowd. But for a fan base weary of nearly a decade without a postseason victory, sack records only go so far. What Pittsburgh truly needs is a win to snap a two-game skid and stop their playoff hopes from spiraling.
For now, Watt is chasing history. The bigger question is whether his teammates—especially Rodgers—can help him chase something that matters more in Pittsburgh: January victories.
