funny enough, none of them were really noticeable.

Hunter Renfrow and Derek Carr reunite in New Orleans as underutilized Renfrow traded to the Saints
The Las Vegas Raiders have traded slot receiver Hunter Renfrow to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a 2024 5th round pick and a 2025 3rd round pick.
The deal was made official just a few hours before the NFL's trade deadline as the Raiders eat $7.4 million in dead money this year but save upwards of $13 million next season by shipping out Renfrow, who had been underutilized in the Raiders offense since Josh McDaniels arrival last season.
Renfrow posted career numbers in 2021 with Derek Carr at his quarterback, catching 103 passes for 1038 yards and nine touchdowns. Renfrow saw a dip in 2022, catching 36 passes for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns in ten games, posting similar numbers this season through eight games.
The former Clemson Tiger will now reunite with Carr in New Orleans whose having a solid season, completing 66 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns to just four interceptions but is averaging 218.3 passing yards per game, the lowest amount since his rookie season.
The Raiders used the open roster spot to sign former Rutgers receiver Bo Melton from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. The trade of Renfrow likely elevates rookie receiver Tre Tucker into the starting lineup as Vegas' top option in the slot, although both outside receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers have the ability to play there as well. Tucker leads the team in yards per reception at 20.3, catching 15 passes for 305 yards on just 168 snaps played. By comparison, Renfrow had played 300 snaps and caught 27 passes for 247 yards.

Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts Finding Success Without Top Receivers
Even after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance in his second full season as a starter and signing a big extension this past offseason, many still doubted if Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was one of the top quarterbacks in the league or just a glorified game manager on a loaded roster.
With top receivers A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith missing multiple games this season, Hurts has answered those questions this season, throwing for seven touchdowns and no interceptions in the Eagles last three games against playoff caliber teams in the Jets, Dolphins and Commanders, most recently beating Washington 34-7. In that game, Hurts completed 84 percent of his passes and posted a 141.1 passer rating. The week prior, he had a passer rating of 147.2, throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Miami.
Hurts' play has certainly put him in the MVP conversation, along with Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes and Baltimore's Lamar Jackson.

thief in the night!
Renfrow just didn't fit the team anymore, especially after paying Jakobi which makes his skillset redundant. While Tucker is nice big play guy, I would like to bring in a more traditional outside receiver in the offseason and kick Jakobi inside full time and get this offense cooking

What's the 40-0 reference to?
Madden has him wrongly at LB but I'll leave him there since he's eating. Crossing my fingers that Marte Mapu ends up being what we thought Simmons was going to be
I thought a 4th would be fair but they didn't have one so did a fifth and a future third, pretty fair imo given his 2021 play with Carr

‣ NFL 2023 Regular Season, Week 9 - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Nevada
(4-4) New York Giants at Las Vegas Raiders (5-3)
NYG | 3 | 3 | 7 | 3 | 16
LV | 7 | 6 | 3 | 6 | 22
Las Vegas' defense won't impress you with their defensive rankings, middle of the pack in scoring defense and dead last in passing defense. But in those closing moments, few have been better than the Raiders defensive unit.
After a stellar performance against the Detroit Lions, holding them to just nine points, the Raiders blanketed the New York Giants in the final moments of the game, stopping them on fourth down twice in the fourth quarter to beat the Giants 22-16 on Sunday.
With the game tied with 4:20 remaining, Josh Jacobs' 11-yard run placed the ball at the two yard line for the Raiders with a chance to take the touchdown lead. The Raiders, after a pre-snap penalty brought them back to the 10-yard line, would call a passing play on the next three plays, resulting in a sack and back to back incompletions to force them to settle for a field goal.
The Raiders defense was up to the task, sacking Daniel Jones on 3rd and 2 to force them to go for it and Jones was unable to connect with Sterling Shepard on the deep pass. The Raiders offense was once again unable to put the game away after two carries for one yard and then an incompletion from Jimmy Garoppolo led to Daniel Carlson's 47-yard field goal to make it a six point game with 1:50 remaining.
Even with another opportunity, Jones and the Giants offense would squander it away, going four and out after Jones' completion to Saquon Barkley on 4th and 7 only went six yards.
It was a busy day for Barkley who carried the ball fourteen times and caught an additional sixteen passes, making up over sixty-three percent of the Giants offense while in the midst of an extension dispute with the Giants.
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is in a similar situation with his franchise, playing out this season on the franchise tag. Jacobs rushed for 89 yards.
