to be fair, it was mostly my linebackers getting COOKED
my only concern with shortening the game is the disparity will just be greater. doesn't seem like its going to be patched either.KimJongBaze wrote: ↑09 Oct 2023, 12:2464 attempts my freaking goodness

Jerick McKinnon, Patrick Mahomes lead Chiefs past Bills in potential preview of AFC Championship Game
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen played about as well as NFL quarterback can, completing 72 percent of his passes and averaging 10.6 yards per attempt in a four touchdown performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. It, unfortunately for Bills fans, just wasn't enough.
The Chiefs were able to hold off a 28-point second half from Buffalo to beat the Bills 45-42 in yet another thrilling duel between two of the league's best quarterbacks in Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes had two second half interceptions which allowed the Bills to get back into the game after trailing 31-14 at halftime. Mahomes still finished with 351 yards passing and a 77 percent completion percentage and two passing touchdowns. It was Jerick McKinnon that sealed the victory with a touchdown in the third and fourth quarter to help put away the Bills.
With the win, Kansas City remains the top seed in the AFC as they head into Foxborough this week with a matchup against the Patriots, losers of two straight.

Raiders place running back Ameer Abdullah, linebacker David Anenih on IR; elevate Zonovan Knight and Zach McCloud
The Las Vegas Raiders have placed running back Ameer Abdullah (ribs) and linebacker David Anenih (abdomen) on injured reserve, effectively ending their season and have promoted practice squad running back Zonovan Knight and linebacker Zach McCloud.
Abdullah was third on the team with 219 rushing yards with two rushing touchdowns and is second on the team in terms of snaps played at the running back position, behind only Josh Jacobs.
Abdullah also led the running backs in receptions with 17 catches for 181 yards, primarily being on the field on passing downs. Brandon Bolden projects to play a more meaningful role on the team as a pass blocker on passing downs while Jacobs could also be used more in the passing game as he caught at least 50 passes in the previous two seasons.
Anenih was putting together a solid season in his second year as a former undrafted player, recording eleven tackles and six tackles for loss as a reserve outside linebacker.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams, LT Kolton Miller suffer injuries in practice
The Las Vegas Raiders might be without two of their best offensive players when they play the Los Angeles Chargers with their playoff hopes in the balance.
Raiders receiver Davante Adams suffered a wrist injury in practice while left tackle Kolton Miller appeared on the injury report with a shoulder injury that could potentially sideline both of them against the Chargers.
Adams leads the NFL in receiving yards with 1,235 yards and is tied for fifth with 11 touchdowns. His 82 receptions are third in the NFL and has 41 more receptions than the next closest Raider which is rookie tight end Michael Mayer. The gap is the largest in the NFL, a clear indication of how dependent the Raiders' passing offense has been on Adams, even with the late emergence of rookie receiver Tre Tucker.
The injury to Adams will likely elevate Phillip Dorsett's role in the offense as an option at outside receiver along with Kristian Wilkerson and Bo Melton, who haven't played much this season. Wilkerson has played 149 snaps, catching two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown while Dorsett has caught twelve passes for 85 yards on 124 snaps. Melton was signed a few weeks ago following the Hunter Renfrow trade but has only played thirteen snaps this season and has yet to catch a pass or been targeted.
Adams might be the bigger name and better player, the lost of Miller might be just as important as he's been far and away the team's best offensive linemen. While PFF grades aren't the entire picture, Miller is the only Raiders offensive lineman with a PFF grade over 70 (81.0) and replacing Miller will likely be Jermaine Eluemunor, who posted a 51.2 PFF grade prior to his injury and eventually lost the starting job at right tackle to Justin Herron whose been the team's second best OL according to PFF with a 69.8 grade.
Yodny Cajuste is another option at left tackle.
