Brady breaks record in win over Dolphins
At this point, Tom Brady is just running up the score.

Brady threw for 605 yards, an NFL record, and six touchdowns as New England completely dismantled the Miami Dolphins 55-17 on Sunday.

Since the team's lost to Miami in Foxborough back in October, they've won thirteen of their last fourteen games. Brady and New England got their revenge as the Dolphins had no answer for Brady this time around, not with Tua Tagavaloia sidelined. Instead, it was Josh Rosen trying to keep pace with Brady and he fell short as New England jumped out to a 21-0 lead.

Jeff Thomas got to the endzone three times, including on a 85-yard punt return as time expired. Thomas played football at the University of Miami for three seasons.

New England could be accused of running up the score as they ran the ball just sixteen times while Brady had 56 attempts. Bill Belichick's comments?

"We try to pick up first downs, execute on offense and score points."

Brady, Patriots dominate Chiefs in meaningless game for Pats
New England and the rest of the NFL got some insight into what a post-Tom Brady Patriots would look like. It certainly wasn't pretty but it got the job done.

Patrick Mahomes woes against the Patriots continued as he threw for just 137 yards and was twice intercepted in the 35-21 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

New England came into the game with a lock on the top seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Despite this, Brady and the rest of the Patriots starters played the first half, jumping out to a 21-7 lead.

Brady then left the game and both backup quarterbacks, Jarrett Stidham and Jalen Hurts played a quarter. Stidham had the more productive outing, throwing for 84 yards and a touchdown. Hurts threw for 102 yards and rushed for 34. Both quarterbacks had a higher passer rating than Mahomes, 56.5, who struggled against New England's defense.

With the Los Angeles Chargers winning their game, the loss cost the Chiefs a first-round bye, the division and home field advantage as they slid from the two seed to the fifth seed where they will play the Chargers next week in Los Angeles.
