May have asked but what are you thinking for career path? Staying DC for a while and maybe trying to move up in school prestige or do you think you will be looking at HC positions at some point?
The Victory Lap.
There's no set plan for this, I just evaluate the offers as I think a 35-year old with his background would judge offers.

Gonna miss Medina. Looking forward to the next season though.

Coach Singleton's Notes:
‣ A bit of a wild card at quarterback but the kid is a senior and he's talented enough to stay on a competitive Big Ten roster for four years
‣ Some quality receivers on the outside but nothing special. Good opening test for our corners.
‣ A really good and veteran offensive line but they do have some weak points, especially at center and with a right tackle making his first career start
‣ Coming in ranked in the top five, expect a raucous crowd to help give our guys some juice

Coach Singleton's Post Game
Q: A dominant performance, how was the defense able to neutralize Purdue's offense for most of the game?
A: I wouldn't say dominant, they got into the endzone twice and scored over twenty points which is our measuring stick. Their running back had a nice couple of runs and later in the game, a few of our guys got beat deep but overall, we just came out excited, came ready to play and we showed up.
Q: A bit inside baseball here but you played a lot more man coverage it seemed like this game than in previous years. Is that an adjustment with the new secondary?
A: We're still tinkering with the rotation so right now, we kept it simple. We have a lot of guys on the outside that are pretty good man corners, we didn't always have an abundance of that last year and its something we still need to work on, gave up a long touchdown in man coverage so I don't know if we're a man coverage team per se but its definitely something that's in our back pocket.
Q: Coco Generals got the start at middle linebacker over Landon Gauthier, your leading tackler from last year. He played every defensive snap, what did you see throughout spring and camp for him to emerge into what looks like a key piece for you guys?
A: I don't know that we have starters in the linebacker room. There's probably six, seven guys that I got o sleep at night comfortably and with ease if they're playing every snap tomorrow. The pace of the game and the tenor of it dictated that Coco played a bigger role but Landon is more than capable and I rate them on the same level.
Q: A few guys got their first career start, David Zelenka among them at strong safety, opposite Rico Smith. A true freshman in Cole Chocolately also got the start, made an interception. An essentially brand new secondary, were you surprised by how well they played?
A: Again, I don't know that we have starters yet, especially at safety. We know who [Smith] is and what he does so he'll probably be a mainstay but for the group as a whole, we're still figuring out what we have and our initial unit played well so we rolled with them but guys like Jamerson Knowles, [Marques] Sneed, Matthew [Gore], they will all factor in at some point.

Need to fix the score, says you only allowed 6 points but allowed two touchdowns through the air. Assuming you won, good job.
