The NFL At A Glance: Could LSU's Farrakhan Go #1?

Image

It's never too early to start thinking about potential NFL destinations (should the player choose to go pro), & now we're wondering where LSU's breakout star, Jozif Farrakhan, could land on draft night.

It's not completely out of the question to expect the 3rd year player from Croydon in the UK to at least be selected in the top-10 considering he's heads above the rest of the nation at receiving yards (1,370) & receiving touchdowns with 16.

As of now, there are total of 5 teams with 1 win (NYJ, TEN, SF, OAK, CLE) & 1 team that has yet to win a game (ATL) during the 2026-2027 NFL season.

In order for Farrakhan to get drafted #1, it will have to be a team that is looking to put their eggs in that basket & select a wide receiver.

Atlanta Falcons WR Core: Darnell Mooney (75 OVR), Darren Darby (73 OVR)

Cleveland Browns WR Core: Travis Hunter (86 OVR), Jerry Jeudy (85 OVR), Devin Duvernay (77 OVR)

New York Jets WR Core: Malachi Corley (80 OVR), Mike Williams (78 OVR), Allen Lazard (73 OVR)

Oakland Raiders WR Core: Davante Adams (86 OVR), Luther Burden III (84 OVR), Jakobi Meyers (80 OVR)

San Francisco 49ers WR Core: Brandon Aiyuk (93 OVR), Deebo Samuel Sr (86 OVR), Ricky Pearsall (81 OVR)

Tennessee Titans WR Core: Keenan Allen (84 OVR), Mike Evans (82 OVR), Calvin Ridley (81 OVR), Marvin Mims Jr (81 OVR)

Should the Atlanta Falcons land the #1 pick in the draft, Farrakhan would be an instant playmaker for the offense as the team currently could use an upgrade at that position. QB Michael Penix Jr could use a wideout like JF to start putting some pieces together for the Falcons.

The New York Jets are also a potential option for Farrakhan considering Malachi Corley is their #1 WR option. The Jets should not be looking to select a quarterback in the first round after selecting QB Carson Beck in the 2025 NFL draft.

As for the other teams available, it's unlikely they'll look for a WR in the draft considering their current roster, but we'll learn more as the season progresses & the final records are determined.

:yep: went from unranked to #7 :obama:

Swann throws his fair share of picks but he's a good QB. I couldn't have asked for a better team in year 3
