Fun win there. I started mine before Trujillo was in the roster. Aren’t you 3-3 now?
I was about to start mine without him as well, but I found out that the default dynasty rosters weren't updated. Ever since trying him out in practice, I knew I had to find a way to get him involved in the offense. He's one of the most mobile QBs and has the best deep ball on the roster
Fixed the record. I won the first game then lost three straight. I was mixing it up with a future update
The most anticipated game of the week for all college football fans: the Battle of the Cocks. Not really but it was an entertaining game for Jacksonville State fans at least.
Although the game was close until the fourth quarter, the Gamecocks outplayed the Blue Hens on both sides of the ball. On offense, redshirt junior Gavin Wimsatt completely violated the Blue Hens secondary as he threw for 485 yards with 4 touchdowns. Three Jacksonville State receivers finished with over 125 receiving yards and a touchdown: Caleb Coombs (153), Pearson Baldwin (147), Michael Pettway (127). Coach Tolliver, I know man coverage was somewhat working against Western Kentucky but these Jacksonville State boys are built different. You should look up something called mid-game adjustments to help with your defensive struggles. It could really help.
On defense, it was a murder as Chris Smoove would say. The Gamecocks finished with a total of 10 sacks on Blue Hens quarterback Riley Trujillo. Patrick Shupp was inserted back into the starting lineup last game as right guard, but there may be another shakeup in the offensive line after this tragedy. Trujillo was unable to use his legs to its full potential with the constant QB spy and his o-line's inability to block defenders. Down 21-24 in the fourth, Trujillo had a chance to take the lead but ended up throwing a third down punt into Tyrin Taylor's hands. Next possession, Caleb Coombs destroyed all hopes in a Blue Hens victory by burning Kshawn Cox on a 88 yard touchdown.
I think we will be seeing those Gamecocks defensive highlights on a certain orange website soon.

Fans witnessed an instant classic in Delaware Stadium tonight. After both defenses failing to contain either offenses, it came down to the final five minutes. After Jekail Middlebrook ran into the end zone for his second TD, the Blue Raiders failed to convert on their 2 point conversion which left them at a lead of 43-37.
The Blue Hens went three-and-out on their next drive, but their defense was able to force their own three-and-out. With less than a minute left and no timeouts left, Trujillo and the offense had little room for error. Unfortunately, Trujillo was sacked with less than 15 seconds left. The offense was able to line up just in time for one last prayer down field.
Then "The Catch" happened. Trujillo threw up a jump ball that his WR1 Jake Thaw managed to come down with. This catch not only won them the game but it was also Trujillo's sixth passing touchdown of the night, which broke the school record for most passing touchdowns in a game.
The Hen House is going to be laying a lot of eggs tonight.
