let's see what he got while Amani Hooker is out with the injury. Probably will rotate in at safety until Hooker is back.Captain Canada wrote: ↑17 Sep 2025, 11:41Always loved Isaiah Simmons, hopefully he somewhat pans out here

‣ NFL 2025 Regular Season, Week 9 - Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee
(6-3) Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans (3-6)
LAC | 10 | 14 | 0 | 3 | 27
TEN | 0 | 0 | 8 | 7 | 15
Titans can't get much going following trade deadline with 27-15 loss to Chargers
The Tennessee Titans took the field Sunday with a new-look roster after trading away veterans Quandre Diggs, Sebastian Joseph-Day, and Tyler Lockett earlier in the week. The transition showed against the Los Angeles Chargers, as Tennessee fell 27-15 in front of the home crowd at Nissan Stadium.
Los Angeles jumped out early behind Justin Herbert, who threw three first-half touchdowns to build a commanding 24-0 lead. Ladd McConkey’s score in the final seconds of the second quarter was the dagger, sending the Titans into the locker room in a deep hole they weren't able to dig out of it.
Cam Ward tried to spark a rally, finding Calvin Ridley for two second-half touchdowns, including a 23-yard strike late in the third quarter. Ward finished with 290 yards and two touchdowns, but six sacks and an interception stalled several drives. Gunnar Helm also stepped up with 94 yards receiving in his first game as the starting tight end, replacing the injured Chigoziem Okonwo.
Despite the loss, Ward was quick to dismiss any suggestion that the recent moves signaled a tanking effort.
“I don’t think anybody in this locker room thinks like that,” Ward said. “We’re competing every game, and the guys in here — we believe in what we’re building. I know what I signed up for, and I’m ready for it.”

Way Too Early Tennessee Titans Mock Draft: Tennessee goes back to South Florida with their first pick of the draft
The Tennessee Titans are in an interesting position where, due to the struggles of the division as a whole, they are a two-game winning streak away from being in the playoff picture and potentially at the top of the division while simultaneously being a losing streak away from having the top pick of the NFL Draft.
Thankfully, it's a deep draft and wherever the Titans ultimately land, they'll likely have a good chance at leaning one of the premier edge players in a loaded draft at the position. In this version of the mock draft, the first of its kind at the halfway point of the NFL season and during the Titans bye week, the Titans land one of the top edge rushers in the country while also addressing other needs thanks to the trade they made at the deadline.
Projected Draft Picks (subject to change)
‣ Round 1, Pick 7

The Tennessee Titans have struggled to get much of a pass rush from their edge rushers so far this season. Both Arden Key and Dre'Mont Jones are on expiring contracts, and neither defender is a true No. 1 EDGE. Rueben Bain Jr. fits the Titans' preferred profile of a powerful pass rusher, and he'll surely receive a ringing endorsement from his former teammate, quarterback Cam Ward.
‣ Round 2, Pick 39

Ideally, someone like Carnell Tate or Antonio Williams slip past the first round and the Titans aggressively move up and get them at the top of the second round. If they don't, the Titans, currently lacking a dynamic deep-threat receiver, would benefit from Singleton's speed and versatility. His ability to make plays downfield and gain separation would complement Tennessee's offensive scheme, providing quarterback Cam Ward with a reliable target and enhancing the overall passing game.
‣ Round 3, Pick 71

Is he a pass rusher, a defensive back or an off-ball linebacker? Those questions will follow Perkins throughout his pre-draft process but whatever he ends up being, his versatility and athleticism, combined with his proven playmaking ability, would be a steal in the third round. Perkins projects to be a polarizing player in the months leading up to the draft and could either skyrocket up draft boards with front offices valuing his versatility while teams might decide to shy away from a player that doesn't have a definitive archetype.
‣ Round 3, Pick 80 (via DAL)

Similar to Singleton, this isn't the cream of the crop of the corner position with guys like Jermod McCoy and Avieon Terrell projected to go in the first round so why not take your chance in a deep corner draft and go after a guy like Delane, who in other previous draft classes, might be a lock to be a top-50 draft pick.
‣ Round 3, Pick 91 (via SF)

Allen has been an extremely productive running back at Penn State and the Titans could use a bigger body in their running back room to compliment their two dynamic running backs in Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. They did draft Kale Mullings late in the draft last year but Allen would bring more big play potential, averaging over five yards per carry as a four-year contributor at Penn State.

this boy would go right back to Thug U with his first pick

almost got the dub over Vanilla Vick. With how close the games have been if you get some more talent on the defensive side we'll be seeing a quick turnaround
