Gonna be tough I think, definitely need to hit on more draft picks and find a long-term QB
Crazy thing is that the Patriots were able to be dominant for so long while not really drafting great.

i think they drafted great for their system tho. especially recently, but a lot of those guys have been hurt. but they always have low key named contributors

Tom Brady, in the end, had a lot of covering up to do for the shortfalls in several areas. I always point to the 2013 season when all Brady had was Aaron Dobson, Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, and Kenbrell Thompkins as his receivers with no Gronk. Still managed 4,300 passing yards.

The Pats hit decently with defensive box picks and offensive lineman, where they fall short is on skill position players. In the last five years, guys like N'Keal Harry, Duke Dawson, Cyrus Jones, Malcolm Mitchell, etc have all fallen flat. And now throw in the fact they probably need to look to the draft for a quarterback, they can't miss building around that new offense. Especially because they have a tendency to get really cheap on contracts unless it's a real star (Gilmore). And at the same time, they do really well developing low key talent like Edelman, Adam Butler, J.C. Jackson, Malcolm Butler, etc.

WRs always been the downfall. they seem to get TE right, but never the WR. RBs been decent with sony michel and harris at least.
