DIVISION C
Imager
Owner: Margaret Kingman
Brief Summary:: The Raptors have found moderate success during their time in the MLF. They made the playoffs every year from 1990-97 before missing it every season between 1998-2005. Baltimore has had great runs and made championship appearances but has yet to break through on that front. The main concern now is if long-time head coach Leonard Wilson is still the right man for the job.

NFL Comparison: Cincinnati Bengals

Last Five Seasons
2010: 9-3, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2011: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2012: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2013: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2014: 9-7, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
WR Leonardo Tobin, Jr. | 6'1" 204 lbs. | 31 years old 10 years pro | LSU
Round 1 Pick 1 in 2005
3x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 76 receptions, 1,408 yards, 18.5 yards per reception, 13 touchdowns
Tobin has been an absolute star at receiver since he entered the league back in 2005. He is an elite deep threat with a knack for making the big play. Leonardo Tobin has been climbing up the record book ranks and is building a potential hall of fame career. Coaches have characterized him as “cooperative” and a “natural team leader” and he has mentioned numerous times how he looks forward to finishing his career in Baltimore.
NFL Comparison: Marvin Harrison

WR Linwood Griffin | 6'2", 233 lbs. | 33 years old 13 years pro | Florida
Round 1 Pick 9 in 2002
2014 Stats: 12 starts, 86 receptions, 1,053 yards, 12.2 yards per receptions, 6 touchdowns
Griffin, like Tobin, has been a lifer with the Baltimore Condors. They have been paired together for a long time, but they have not gotten along well. Based on the comments made to the media about their relationship, it can be inferred that Linwood Griffin has harbored some jealousy over the success Tobin has had. But it has not been a distraction; Griffin is a smart, workaholic possession receiver who has put together a solid career himself.
NFL Comparison: Brandon Marshall

QB Reuben Klein | 6'3" 245 lbs. | 29 years old 9 years pro | Duke
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2006
1x All-Pro, 2006 Offensive Rookie of the Year
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4,079 yards, 61.2% completion, 31 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 96.1 rating
Reuben Klein is a household name in the MLF. He has been the leader of the Raptors since entering the league in 2006 and his fiery attitude and competitive nature have made him a remarkable name. At times, he has been viewed as arrogant and whiny, but his on-the-field play has ranked in the top half of the league consistently. He made headlines with his constant beef and taunting of then-Mountaineers quarterback David Booth after a series of competitive games in the years leading up to Booth’s retirement. Klein signed a seven-year extension with the Raptors back in 2012, so he is in for the long haul.
NFL Comparison: Ben Roethlisberger

Staff
GM Gerald Wheeler: 16 years of experience from various front offices.
HC Leonard Wilson: Coach Wilson has headed the Raptors since 2004 and holds a career record of 67-61. While he has found some limited success, there is little doubt that his seat is warming up and this could be his final ride if this season underwhelms.
OC Earl McKay: McKay has been a childhood friend of Leonard Wilson and has been coaching with the Raptors since 1999. Though he has received interest, McKay has shown none himself in pursuing a head coaching position.
DC Jacob Lawton: Coach Lawton has been the defensive coordinator in Baltimore since 2003.
Image
Owner: Thomas Ferguson

Brief Summary: The Rangers are a high-ranking franchise in the MLF, especially for the last ten seasons. For the majority of the 2000s, the Dallas Rangers boasted one of the most electric offenses the league has ever seen, led by former offensive coordinator Kenneth Johnston and former head coach Terry Romano. Johnston has since departed for head coaching and Romano has retired, leaving the Rangers to strive for new heights.
NFL Comparison: Kansas City Chiefs

Last Five Seasons
2010: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2011: 9-3, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2012: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2013: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2014: 5-11, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
HB Arnold Thorn | 6'1" 205 lbs. | 26 years old 6 years pro | Grand Valley State
Round 1 Pick 19 in 2009
2014 Stats: 6 starts, 449 yards, 4.1 yards per carry, 2 touchdowns
Arnold Thorn is a prototypical speed back that can break down defenders in open space. Fans will always anticipate that next amazing juke or spin but should not expect him to break many tackles. His ability as a receiving threat is also notable. He shared carries with other backs in previous seasons, but in 2015 he will be expected to handle a large load in the offense.
NFL Comparison: LeSean McCoy

QB Vincent Gomes | 6'1" 213 lbs. | 33 years old 13 years pro | North Dakota State
Round 5 Pick 10 in 2002 by Birmingham Swashbucklers
2014 Stats: 1 start, 207 yards, 64.1% completion, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception, 92.6 rating
The Rangers have put a tall task on Vincent Gomes in replacing nine-time All-Pro and former MVP Patrick Foust. Gomes sat around in Birmingham as a second and third-string back-up for his first five seasons in Birmingham. On his sixth, a flurry of offseason gaffes led to him being named the starter for the next four seasons before being benched and relegated to back-up again. Gomes landed in Las Vegas and Phoenix as a back-up and will now (likely) take the reigns as Dallas’ new stop-gap starter. He is a smart, consummate pro. And what he lacks in arm strength he makes up for with accuracy and smart decision-making. He will likely compete for the starting job with 2012 first-round pick Scott Roy who by all measurements has been a bust, and 2012 fourth-round pick Brian Johnson who started eight games last season after Roy was benched.
NFL Comparison: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Josh McCown

SS Gordon Swanson | 6'0" 194 lbs. | 32 years old 12 years pro | Iowa
Round 1 Pick 13
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 86 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions, 14 passes defended
Swanson has been a revered defensive back during his career. He is a phenomenal open space tackler, has had success playing in the box and in coverage, and has demonstrated great leadership in the Dallas Rangers organization. A few years back, Gordon Swanson reportedly requested a trade after being disgruntled with the team’s lack of competitiveness. But since then, he has mellowed on that stance and hopes to get a ring before he retires.
NFL Comparison: Harrison Smith

Staff
GM Keenan Rosas: 24 years of experience, all of them with Dallas.
HC Tom Saucier: Coach Saucier has an established name in the league, though it is not exactly perfect. While he has made his name as a great strategic mind on both offense and defense, there are some questions regarding his ability to lead a franchise. He is infamous for the league’s only “imperfect season” with the Lincoln Thunderhawks in 2003 with their 0-12 record. In his career, he is 45-91 with only two playoff appearances. Many can make the argument that he down-right should not continue to get head coaching gigs after being fired in Kansas City. He turned in a 7-5 season in his first year with Dallas but regressed to 5-11 with the expanded schedule.
OC Richard Miller: Miller came from Kansas City with Tom Saucier. This is his first offensive coordinator job.
DC Douglas Lester: Coach Lester is a veteran coach with experience as a head coach, offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator since the 90s. He was also the first-ever head coach of the Arkansas Nailers.
Image
Owner: Matthew Feinsod

Brief Summary:: The Thunderhawks are a middle-tier organization in the MLF. Lincoln has found ways to win and for some years in their history were true contenders. From 1996-2005, they could not even come close to smelling the playoffs. They have made the playoffs four out of the last five seasons, but they need to find a way to break through and not keep taking first-round exits.
NFL Comparison: Las Vegas Raiders

Last Five Seasons
2010: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2011: 4-8, missed playoffs
2012: 10-2, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2013: 9-3, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2014: 11-5, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
QB Terry Benoit | 6'2" 228 lbs. | 30 years old 10 years pro | Ohio State
Round 1 Pick 6 in 2005
4x All-Pro, 2012 Offensive Player of the Year, 2012 MVP
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4.182 yards, 30 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 99.1 rating
In 2005, the selection of Terry Benoit at number six while Lincoln still had James Travis is was one of the most controversial moves the league had ever seen. If you look at Benoit’s individual success, that gamble paid off. He has since been the franchise quarterback and one of the best in the league. His 2012 MVP season carried Lincoln to the playoffs, and his 2014 season further cemented his greatness. Benoit is an enthusiastic leader with the perfect blend of athleticism, accuracy, and top-end arm talent. All he needs now is that elusive championship.
NFL Comparison: Russell Wilson

OT Shaun Culp | 6’2” 270 lbs. | 29 years old 9 years pro | Temple
Round 1 Pick 8 in 2006
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 games started, 15 sacks allowed
Culp has been a stalwart member of the Thunderhawks since 2006, serving as the bookend tackle for the team. He had a surprisingly down year, allowing 15 sacks, the most since his rookie season (12).
NFL Comparison: Jason Peters

LB Blake Jaeger | 6’5” 257 lbs. | 25 years old 4 years pro | Virginia
Round 1 Pick 14 in 2011
2x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 110 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5 sacks
Blake Jaeger is one of the hardest-hitting, smartest players in the league at just 25 years old. He has been extremely versatile for the Thunderhawks, playing in the middle of the defense as a mike linebacker and off the edge as a pass rusher. He is beloved by the media and his teammates alike. He is in the last year of his rookie deal and is expecting a big payday from the front office.
NFL Comparison: Micah Parsons, Jamie Collins

Staff
GM Claudio Whitten: 19 years of front office experience, the fourth year with Lincoln. He is a big proponent of trading and building through free agency.
HC Jon Vincent: Vincent has been coaching for about 19 years, mostly at the college ranks. He made the jump from Oregon’s head coach to Lincoln’s in 2012 and has been a rare success at that move. His conservative power run scheme and hybrid 3-3-5 from the collegiate level have confused opposing coaches to the tune of a 30-10 record in three seasons.
OC Mark Fairley: Oregon’s former offensive coordinator who joined Vincent in Lincoln.
DC Roy Hill: Former Madison defensive coordinator, joined Vincent’s staff in 2012.
Image=
Owner: John Mason

Brief Summary: The Kings dominated the mid-to-late 90s with elite play and a couple of championship appearances but nothing truly to show for it. They made the playoffs for a consecutive decade between 1994 and 2003. After a down period through the mid-2000s, they have resurfaced in the last two seasons.
NFL Comparison: Baltimore Ravens

Last Five Seasons
2010: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2011: 5-7, missed playoffs
2012: 3-9, missed playoffs
2013: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2014: 12-4, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
CB Doyle Adams | 6’1” 202 lbs. | 28 years old 4 years pro | Nebraska
Round 1 Pick 13 in 2011
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 85 tackles, targeted 165 time/92 catches allowed, 8 interceptions, 35 passes defended, 1 defensive touchdown
Adams has been one of the best corners to develop in the last couple of years. With his bright personality and good dance moves, he has garnered a strong following of fans across the league. He finished second in the league last season in interceptions but has built a reputation for being a gambler and giving up big plays because of it.
NFL Comparison: Trevon Diggs, Marcus Peters

RB Jeffrey Whitt | 6’2” 250 lbs. | 29 years old 6 years pro | Penn State
Round 1 Pick 22 in 2009 by the Lincoln Thunderhawks
2x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 1658 yards, 4.5 average, 8 touchdowns, 476 yards receiving, 6 touchdowns
There are few egos bigger than Jeffrey Whitt’s in the MLF. From calling out teammates in the media to flat out subbing himself back into games, his personality is a pill. His talent keeps him afloat though, as he is an elite threat both in the run and in the passing game. 2014 was his first season in Phoenix after an unceremonious end in Lincoln.
NFL Comparison: Le’Veon Bell

G Vicente Butts | 6’3” 304 lbs. | 25 years old 2 years pro | Boise State
Round 1 Pick 4 in 2004
2014 Stats:11 games started, 1 sack allowed
NFL Comparison: Brandon Brooks

Staff
GM Arnulfo Boggs: 14 years of front office experience. Great contract negotiator and scout.
HC Michael Everett: One of the older coaches in the league. Everett used to be the Los Angeles Stars head coach and joined the Kings with great success so far in his first two seasons, going 20-8.
OC Justin Hicks: Former Madison Wolves OC, joined with Everett in 2013. Has had successful stints as a quarterbacks coach and receivers coach.
DC Dale Coleman: A long-time understudy to Everett, getting his first-ever coordinator job at 63 years old.

DIVISION A

Owner: Ross Stinchcomb
Brief Summary: The Madison Wolves have the most playoff appearances in league history, yet only one league championship win to show for it. They are consistently a strong roster and hope to pull together some more rings.
NFL Comparison: Green Bay Packers

Last Five Seasons
2010: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2011: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in the Championship
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2014: 8-8, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
QB Patrick Foust | 6’2” 223 lbs. | 35 years old 13 years pro | Texas A&M
Round 4 Pick 1 in 2002 by Lincoln Thunderhawks
9x All-Pro, 3x Offensive Player of the Year, 2011 MVP
2014 Stats: 9 starts, 2,146 yards, 16 touchdowns, 5 interceptions
Foust is a top-ten QB the MLF. The former fourth-round pick got his chance to start full-time in Dallas where he led one of most high-powered passing offenses the league had ever seen. This led to numerous accolades and awards during his time there. His efficiency in throwing the ball and extending the play with his legs have created so incredible memories. He left Dallas in 2011 following an MVP season for Madison and had his 2014 season cut short with a broken leg injury.
NFL Comparison: Dak Prescott

C Frank Johnson | 6’3” 296 lbs. | 26 years old 3 years pro | Valparaiso
Round 1 Pick 23 in 2012
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats:16 starts, 5 games sacked
NFL Comparison: Ryan Jensen

WR William Cummings Jr. | 6’3” 226 lbs. | 30 years old 7 years pro | Southern Miss
Round 2 Pick 9 in 2009 by Atlanta Falcons
4x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 15 starts, 62 receptions, 1,427 yards, 23.0 average, 9 touchdowns, 1 drop
Cummings Jr. has been a consistently productive receiver in the league as a premier possession receiver.
NFL Comparison: Reggie Wayne

Staff
GM John Garcia: 11 years of front office experience. One of the youngest GMs in the league, from the New York Warriors organization.
HC Micheal Brown: Brown has been the Wolves head coach since 2012 with a 21-19 record so far. This organization expects greatness, however, so he needs to find himself to a winning season and playoff success this year.
OC Jeffrey Savage: First-time professional offensive coordinator, former LSU pass game coordinator. Runs a collegiate spread hybrid team.
DC John Bucher: First-time professional defensive coordinator, former Las Vegas linebackers coach.
Image
Owner: Elizabeth Moscow
Brief Summary: Kansas City is the reigning league champion, winning the first championship in the 16-game season. Before that? They had missed the playoffs for six consecutive years. This is a Cinderella franchise, so we will see if the clock strikes midnight. They lost two championships in the 90s, are they officially back?
NFL Comparison: Buffalo Bills

Last Five Seasons
2010: 4-8, missed playoffs
2011: 2-10, missed playoffs
2012: 3-9, missed playoffs
2013: 6-6, missed playoffs
2014: 11-5, League Champions

Top Three Players
TE Andrew Apple | 6’4” 233 lbs. | 24 years old 2 years pro | Washington
Round 1 Pick 2 in 2013
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 42 receptions, 389 yards, 9.3 average, 2 touchdowns
Apple physically has everything you want in a tight end. Great size, elite speed, solid hands, and a more than willing blocker. Many analysts and scouts project him to have an elite season this year.
NFL Comparison: Tyler Eifert, T.J. Hockinson

WR Robert Dennison | 6’1” 195 lbs. | 33 years old 13 years pro | Stanford
Round 2 Pick 8 in 2002 by the Las Vegas Grizzlies
4x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 1 start, 5 receptions, 38 yards, 7.6 average, 1 touchdown
Dennison missed the entire 2014 season with a serious knee injury, but still collected the first ring of his career. But he has been one of the elite members of the MLF since he was drafted in 2002. He has over 10,000 yards receiving and nearly 100 touchdowns. Notorious for his poor attitude, touchdown dances, and love for the all-mighty dollar.
NFL Comparison: Chad Johnson

QB Clifton Sparks | 6’3” 238 lbs. | 29 years old 6 years pro | Georgia
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2009
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4,249 yards, 60% completion, 35 touchdowns, 11 interceptions
Everyone in the league loves Clifton Sparks. The former Heisman winner from Georgia has had a quiet but solid career since being selected number 3 overall in 2009. He has been effective, but not flashy to the degree everyone expected him. 2014 was the first season he has started all regular-season games, and he had a career year that led his squad to the MLF championship.
NFL Comparison: Teddy Bridgewater

Staff
GM Donald Adamson: 16 years of front office experience, 3 with the Cobras. He is one of the top negotiators in the league and a top-tier scout.
HC Antonio Crawford: Crawford joined the Cobras after two seasons as the Minneapolis Titans head coach. He preaches flexibility on both sides of the ball and thinks accountability to the most important quality of a team.
OC Darryl Lane: Former Federals OC. Came over to Kansas City in 2012.
DC Travis Marlow: Marlow spent most of his career coaching college football, this is his first pro coordinator job. Signed back in 2012.
Image
Owner: Warriors Board of the Directors, Executive Director Winston West

Brief Summary: It has not been great for the Empire State’s team the last six years. They have posted two 1-11 seasons and have not smelled the playoffs since 2008. There was limited success in the 2000s prior to that. There are signs of progress, with their 7-9 finish in 2014.
NFL Comparison: Jacksonville Jaguars

Last Five Seasons
2010: 2-10, missed playoffs
2011: 3-9, missed playoffs
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 1-11, missed playoffs
2014: 7-9, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
WR Tony Kong-Ngoku | 6’2” 208 lbs. | 29 years old 9 years pro | UNLV
Round 1 Pick 15 in 2006 by Dallas Rangers
2014 Stats: 9 starts, 42 receptions, 564 yards, 13.4 average, 4 touchdowns
Kong-Ngoku is a Nigerian native whose videos of him performing athletic feats earned him a scholarship for UNLV’s track team. In his junior year, he tried out for the football team and became an instant star. He has had some great seasons for the Rangers and Warriors but has recently voiced his displeasure with the franchise and is hoping to maybe find a new home before the season’s end. But he also has to prove he can stay healthy; he missed the back end of the season with a dislocated knee.
NFL Comparison: Jarvis Landry

G/T Wesley Daley | 6’3” 328 lbs. | 31 years old 10 years pro | Ohio State
Round 1 Pick 16 in 2005 by the Oregon Predators
3x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 1 sack allowed
Daley is one of the most versatile linemen in the league. He is coming over for his first year in New York from Madison, on a one-year deal.
NFL Comparison: Orlando Franklin

S Donald Greene | 6’1” 198 lbs. | 26 years old 4 years pro | Texas A&M
Round 2 Pick 2 in 2011
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 44 tackles, targeted 155 times/83 catches allowed, 6 interceptions, 21 passes defended, 2 defensive touchdowns
Greene is a great centerfield safety who has thrived in cover one situations. He is a bit slimmer than most safeties but has top-end speed and agility that allows him to prowl in the back end of the secondary.
NFL Comparison: Harrison Smith

Staff
GM Joseph Gann: 12 years of front office experience, second season with the Warriors. Former Madison director of player personnel.
HC Laramie Harry: The Warriors were mired by the underwhelming performance of former head coach Frank Rubin. They made a daring hire last offseason, hiring Cobras defensive backs coach and pass game coordinator 44-year-old Laramie Harry to lead the franchise. In his first year as head coach and defensive play-caller, they had one of their best seasons in recent memory in 7-9.
OC Alfredo Dennison: Former Stars OC
STC Kim Boswell: With Harry serving as defensive play-caller, Boswell serves as the team’s special teams coordinator while also working with the defense.
Image
Owner: Jerome Potter

Brief Summary: The Federals are always in the thick of it. They have to championship losses in the last ten years, and they are searching for the elusive championship win. They are a well-run franchise, just a few blocks away from the White House. These perennial contenders are on the brink of greatness.
NFL Comparison: Green Bay Packers, 90s Bills

Last Five Seasons
2010: 6-6, lost in the Championship
2011: 6-6, missed playoffs
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 9-3, lost in the Championship
2014: 11-5, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
T George Salgado | 6’6” 346 lbs. | 31 years old 10 years pro | Delaware State
Round 1 Pick 15 in 2005
5x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 0 sacks allowed
This athletic specimen and lifelong Federal is someone to behold. He has incredible size and athleticism with the versatility to play every spot on the offensive line. We are trying to fact-check this, but according to stat tracking, he has not given up a sack that is solely on him since 2008. If that is true, we are looking at one of the greatest players of all time.
NFL Comparison: Joe Thomas, Jake Long

C/G Forrest Herr | 6’3” 314 lbs. | 33 years old 13 years pro | Wisconsin
Round 1 Pick 14 in 2002
3x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 13 starts, 1 sack allowed
Forrest Herr, like Salgado, has been a member of the Federals since he was drafted. He is a trusted veteran leader who has experience playing across the line.
NFL Comparison: Alex Mack

WR Javonte Winfield | 6’2” 210 lbs. | 33 years old 9 years pro | UCLA
Round 2 Pick 15 in 2006 by Dallas Rangers
2x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 15 starts, 64 receptions, 1,157 yards, 18.1 average, 12 touchdowns
Winfield is one of the top-tier #2 receivers in the league who finally got a chance to be #1 in D.C. He has only gotten better with age. He had his career-best season last year, with over 1,000 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns. Winfield is loved by teammates, coaches, and fans alike.
NFL Comparison: Anquan Boldin

Staff
GM Rick Wallace: 24 years of front office experience, all within D.C. organization.
HC Kenneth Flores: Flores has been a steady hand for the Federals in his three years as head coach, going 25-15. He is all about being flexible and doing whatever it takes to win. The league respects him as one of the best offensive minds around.
OC Raymond Anderson: Former Thunderhawks OC.
DC Wilburn Thorn: Thorn is one of the oldest coaches in the league at 71 years old. He was the defensive coordinator in D.C. from 1999-2007 and returned to the role in 2011 after a coaching hiatus. He is an elite coordinator and defensive line coach.
Image
Owner: Walsh Moorehead

Brief Summary: Another expansion franchise that played their first season last year.
NFL Comparison: 2003 Houston Texans

Top Three Players
WR Glenn Lai | 6’1” 183 lbs. | 38 years old 17 years pro | North Dakota State
Round 1 Pick 9 in 1998 by Toronto Raiders
4x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 87 receptions, 1,142 yards, 13.1 average, 13 touchdowns
An ageless wonder, and one of the biggest bad boys the league has ever witnessed. Oh, and also an Asian-American role model in the MLF. Lai has had a rap sheet, from drugs to DUIs, club fights, and rumored Triad connections. That aside, he has been a legend in the receiving game. He is the fourth oldest player in the league, third all-time in receptions, second in yards, and sixth in touchdowns. He’s a sure-fire Hall of Famer, but his checkered past cannot be looked over.
NFL Comparison: Terrell Owens

HB De’Vondre Reed | 5’11” 207 lbs. | 22 years old 1-year pro | Georgia
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2014
1x All-Pro, 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 1,477 yards, 4.8 average, 9 touchdowns
Everyone knew that Reed was going to be a star after his three incredible years at Georgia including a Heisman win. He was the first draft pick in Rampage history and he will be a bright mark in their history. He won the OROY award and made a case for MVP too. De’Vondre Reed is ready to take another step as this team’s big star.
NFL Comparison: Todd Gurley, Matt Forte

WR Huron Luong | 6’6” 219 lbs. | 31 years old 7 years pro | Florida A&M
Round 2 Pick 3 in 2008 by Austin Flyers
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 82 receptions, 1,424 yards, 17.4 average, 9 touchdowns
Luong, a Nigerian native, has been an interesting deep threat during his time in the league. He dislikes playing Boston and was upset to be taken in the expansion draft last year after having a promising season in Baltimore cut short by a shoulder injury. He also is a great kick and punt returner.
NFL Comparison: Mohamed Sanu

Staff
GM George Thornton: 7 years of front office experience. The Rampage surprisingly went young in this department, hiring Denver’s director of college scouting. They hope his eye for prospects will help build this franchise with young talent.
HC Houston Lynn: Lynn is an aggressive coach and high-energy leader who used to be the assistant head coach in Kansas City and the former offensive coordinator at Ohio State. At 48, he is one of the younger head coaches in the MLF.
OC John Fischer: Former Ohio State pass game coordinator/wide receivers coach.
DC Donald Warren: Former Toronto linebackers coach.

Brief Summary:: The Talons lost a championship in 1998, and then hit a down period. After a drought in the 2000s, they turned it around in 2012 and won their only ever championship in 2013.
NFL Comparison: Seattle Seahawks

Last Five Seasons
2010: 5-7, missed playoffs
2011: 6-6, missed playoffs
2012: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2013: 7-5, League Champions
2014: 10-6, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
QB Lloyd Pullen | 6’4” 240 lbs. | 29 years old 9 years pro | Louisville
Round 1 Pick 12 in 2006
3x All-Pro, 2013 MVP, 2013 OPOY, 2013 Playoff MVP
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 3,650 yards, 63.5% completion, 27 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, 3 rushing touchdowns
Lloyd Pullen is a top ten QB in the MLF and one of the best athletes in the league. Coming out of Louisville, Pullen was an elite prospect with his intimidating size and ridiculous speed. In 2013, he flashed with an elite season that earned him the MVP and OPOY awards. He is not known for being a great teammate and does not have many friends. Right now, he is in a bit of a stand-off as he wants more money in a contract extension despite three years left on the seven-year deal he signed in 2011.
NFL Comparison: Cam Newton, Josh Allen, maybe what JaMarcus Russell should have been

HB Dallous Stanley | 5’9” 230 lbs. | 27 years old 4 years pro | Utah
Round 2 Pick 10 in 2011
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 780 yards, 4.5 average, 2 touchdowns
Dallous Stanley is a stout power-back, known for initiating contact and constantly falling forward. He has yet to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in a season, and only has ten rushing touchdowns to his name. The team is expecting a massive step forward heading into 2015.
NFL Comparison: Doug Martin

SS Raymond Adams | 6’0” 220 lbs. | 27 years old 6 years pro | Texas A&M
Round 1 Pick 5 in 2009
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 11 starts, 45 tackles, 66 targets/40 catches allowed, 2 sacks
Raymond Adams is the captain of the Talon defense and has become an established name in the MLF. He is known for his optimism and has signed a brand new six-year deal with Atlanta this offseason.
NFL Comparison: Kam Chancellor

Staff
GM Peter Tice: 7 years of front office experience. Former linebacker in the MLF for a short time. Cousin of defensive coordinator Maurice Tice.
HC Robert Lawrence: Lawrence, former Thunderhawks special teams coordinator and assistant head coach, won the league title in his first season as Talons head coach. He coaches to be mistake-free and is an eager and avid fan of the intricacies of football, which has become infectious in the organization.
OC Francis Box: Box was retained as OC when Lawrence took the job.
DC Maurice Tice: Tice was retained from the previous staff as DC by Lawrence. He is also the older cousin of general manager Peter Tice.
Image
Owner: Ronnie Lemieux

Brief Summary: The Raiders organization is the lone international team in the MLF and have rallied a great Canadian following for the game. Their success was sparse before 2010 with only five total playoff appearances. But in recent years they have turned that around and have become true competitors for the league championship.
NFL Comparison: Cincinnati Bengals

Last Five Seasons
2010: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2011: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2012: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Conference round
2013: 9-3, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round
2014: 12-4, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
CB Jason Lindley | 6’1” 216 lbs. | 25 years old 5 years pro | San Diego State
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2010
2x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 88 tackles, 164 targets/87 catches allowed, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 4 interceptions, 31 passes defended
While he may be obnoxious, especially with the media, none can deny that Jason Lindley is one of the best corners in the league today. Known for his patience and ability to bait quarterbacks in zone, all should be wary about throwing in his direction.
NFL Comparison: James Bradberry

QB Aubrey Nowlin | 6’1” 191 lbs. | 35 years old 14 years pro | Kansas State
Round 1 Pick 10 in 2001 by Oregon Predators
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4,398 yards, 64.3% completion, 34 touchdowns, 12 interceptions
Nowlin never played up to the expectations the league had for him early in his career. He was the son of then-Flyers head coach Victor Nowlin, a star player at Kansas State, and a can’t-miss player in the 2001 draft. He had one decent season in Oregon, before playing as a stop-gap starter in New York, then as the starter for six seasons in D.C. Toronto has hitched their wagon to him for three seasons now, and in 2014 he had his best season ever at age 34. He has made a name for himself for performing at a high level in clutch moments, and everyone in the league respects him for his resilience.
NFL Comparison: Carson Palmer, Josh McCown

WR Anthony Lavigne | 6’1” 189 lbs. | 32 years old 12 years pro | Tulsa
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2003
5x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 12 starts, 68 receptions, 1,216 yards, 17.9 average, 13 touchdowns
Lavigne is a locker room leader and solid veteran. He is top ten in several career milestones in MLF history and has played in Toronto his entire career.
NFL Comparison: Julian Edelman

Staff
GM Joseph Brown: 20 years of front office experience. Last five years with the Raiders, regarded as one of the top GMs in the league.
HC Steven Davis: Davis as the assistant head coach in Toronto before the last coach retired in 2013. In his first season as the newly promoted head coach, he went 12-4.
OC David Tate: Tate has been the OC in Toronto since 2012.
DC Danny Hardy: Hardy has been the DC in Toronto since 2011.
Image
Owner: Miriam Dauterive, Dauterive Family

Brief Summary:: The Wasps are one of the crown jewels of the MLF. They have stood for absolute dominance since the league’s inception. Since 1990, they have only missed the playoffs three times. They won the second and third ever MLF championships, five championships total, with their latest in 2009. The only question is when will their next great season come.
NFL Comparison: New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Last Five Seasons
2010: 10-2, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2011: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 5-7, missed playoffs
2014: 13-3, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
HB William Devries | 6’2” 259 lbs. | 30 years old 9 years pro | South Carolina
Round 2 Pick 18 in 2006
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 1,060 yards, 4.5 average, 9 touchdowns, 3 receiving touchdowns
Devries is a top ten tailback in the MLF. His blend of speed, power, and versatility in the passing game has made him a tremendous offensive weapon for the Wasps.
NFL Comparison: Dalvin Cook

QB Bernard Grove | 6’2” 239 lbs. | 30 years old 7 years pro | Maryland
Round 1 Pick 14 in 2008
3x All-Pro, 2014 MVP, 2014 OPOY
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4,317 yards, 60.1% completion, 38 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 294 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns
Grove is the reigning MLF MVP and offensive player of the year. His whole career has been about his elite athleticism and peak efficiency. The most interceptions he has ever thrown in a season is 9, and this past year he was unstoppable. He is also one of the smartest players in the league, getting his master’s in psychology four years ago while still playing. He benefited from sitting and developing behind veteran QBs his first couple of seasons before becoming the full-time starter in 2010.
NFL Comparison: Deshaun Watson

TE DeMarcus Tyson | 6’4” 247 lbs. | 33 years old 11 years pro | Fresno State
Round 1 Pick 10 in 2004 by Los Angeles Stars
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 43 receptions, 483 yards, 11.2 average, 4 touchdowns
Tyson has been a quiet but consistent baller in the MLF. He has become a bit of a journeyman tight end but has always produced consistent results. He and William Devries are very close friends.
NFL Comparison: Benjamin Watson

Staff
GM Anthony Collins: 9 years of front office experience. Last three years with the Wasps. One of the youngest GMs in the league with a thorough scouting background.
HC Robert Stubbs: Stubbs is a first-year head coach, hired from the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders. He is known for being a top-end defensive coach.
OC Mark Diaz: Diaz was retained as OC from the previous staff.
DC Matthew Davison: Davison is one of the youngest coordinators in the league at 33 years old. He played six years in the MLF before moving to coach.
Image
Owner: Edward Yale

Brief Summary: The Nailers had a weird, one-off Cinderella season in 2011 where they went 6-6 and won the league championship. Other than that, they have had six total playoff appearances since 1990 and have not been back to the playoffs since that 2011 season. They are generally non-competitive.
NFL Comparison: Philadelphia Eagles

Last Five Seasons
2010: 5-7, missed playoffs
2011: 6-6, League Champions
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 4-8, missed playoffs
2014: 7-9, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
DE Ryan Frye | 6’3” 261 lbs. | 31 years old 9 years pro | Stanford
Round 1 Pick 7 in 2006
4x All-Pro, 2006 DROY, 2006 DPOY
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 67 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 12 sacks
Frye was an absolute star and nightmare for quarterbacks. In his rookie season, he notched a league-leading 15 sacks and 19 tackles for loss in a campaign that won him both defensive rookie and defensive player of the year.
NFL Comparison: Cameron Jordan

DT Quinn Miles | 6’1” 308 lbs. | 26 years old 4 years pro | Ohio State
Round 1 Pick 5 in 2011
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 36 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, 3 sacks
NFL Comparison: Jarran Reed

QB Neal Small | 6’2” 230 lbs. | 31 years old 10 years pro | Tennessee
Round 1 Pick 13 in 2005 by Orlando Sharks
2x All-Pro, 2005 OROY
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4,027 yards, 68.6% completion, 31 touchdowns, 22 interceptions
Small is a high-caliber quarterback in the league. The former Sharks franchise quarterback signed with the Nailers this offseason after ten seasons in Orlando. When he has good talent around him, he can be a top-ten QB in the league. Without it, he has major turnover tendencies. He does not have a very strong arm, which also has held him back from making flashy deep plays. He is reserved, perhaps a bit selfish, and not viewed as a captain or leader.
NFL Comparison: Eli Manning

Staff
GM Fred Petrie: 12 years of front office experience. Last several years with the Stars organization.
HC Roger Keene: Keene is a first-year head coach and former special teams coordinator/assistant head coach for the Nashville Aquatics.
OC Willie Bedard: Former Madison Wolves OC.
DC Michael Broadway: Retained as DC from the previous staff.

DIVISION C

Owner: Perry Rodgers and Michael Thornton
Brief Summary: The Titans have been one of the worst franchises in the league’s history. Since 1990, they have had only six playoff appearances. And it is well-known that the fanbase has been almost non-existent at times, creating rumors that the franchise may be up for sale or even potentially a relocation.
NFL Comparison: Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars

Last Five Seasons
2010: 5-7, missed playoffs
2011: 4-8, missed playoffs
2012: 1-11, missed playoffs
2013: 5-7, missed playoffs
2014: 9-7, made playoffs, lost in Divisional round

Top Three Players
LB Robert Odell | 6’1” 235 lbs. | 29 years old 7 years pro | Indiana
Round 1 Pick 1 in 2008
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 70 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 1 sack
Odell is the former number one overall pick back in 2008 and has not necessarily played up to those expectations. In seven years, he has no All-Pro awards and has been an average middle linebacker at best.
NFL Comparison: Kiko Alonso

DE Glennon Alston | 6’3” 266 lbs. | 31 years old 10 years pro | Boston College
Round 1 Pick 23 in 2005 by New Orleans Totems
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 35 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 9 sacks
Alston is a speed pass-rush specialist who has found consistent results during his career. He was traded to the Titans in 2013.
NFL Comparison: Trey Flowers

QB Mitchell McFadden | 6’2” 214 lbs. | 34 years old 10 years pro | Penn State
Round 1 Pick 24 in 2005 by Denver Mountaineers
2008 Playoff MVP
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 43 receptions, 483 yards, 11.2 average, 4 touchdowns
McFadden was drafted to be the Mountaineers successor to MLF GOAT David Booth. His crowning achievement is taking over the Mountaineers during the playoffs and leading them to their championship win, starting in the conference championship and league championship and throwing 12 touchdowns to one interception. When Booth finally retired, McFadden struggled with injuries and competition with other quarterbacks. He left Denver and signed with the Titans in 2014 but had his season cut short by a concussion. When he is healthy and playing, he is a consistent player and game manager. In the playoffs, he has 26 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He will compete for the starting job with journeyman 7th round pick Jeremy Willis in 2015,
NFL Comparison: Alex Smith, Nick Foles

Staff
GM Dustin Sledge: 34 years of front office experience. Last three years with the Titans. Sledge has been in several front offices in numerous roles.
HC Mike Rojas: Rojas has been the Titans coach since 2013 and is the former Wasps head coach that led them to a championship in 2009.
OC Reginald Mclain: Joined the staff with Rojas in 2013.
DC Roy Kozlowski: Joined the staff in 2014.
Image
Owner: Riley Montez-Rivers
Brief Summary:The Aquatics have not had a lot of sustained success during their time in the MLF. They have not made the playoffs since 2009 and have not won a playoff game since 2001. The players on the current roster are all in poor moods and the morale is extremely low.
NFL Comparison: Jacksonville Jaguars

Last Five Seasons
2010: 5-7, missed playoffs
2011: 5-7, missed playoffs
2012: 3-9, missed playoffs
2013: 4-8, missed playoffs
2014: 2-14, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
T Ernest Bright | 6’6” 328 lbs. | 28 years old 6 years pro | Northwestern
Round 1 Pick 2 in 2009
2014 Stats: 15 starts, 2 sacks allowed
Bright is a young, strong offensive tackle and offensive captain for the Aquatics. He is also one of the team leaders who have voiced their frustrations with ownership and the lack of team direction.
NFL Comparison: Greg Robinson

S/LB Stanley Ransom | 6’2” 226 lbs. | 28 years old 8 years pro | Colorado State
Round 1 Pick 1 in 2007
2x All-Pro, 2007 DROY
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 89 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 99 targets/68 catches allowed, 2 sacks, 9 passes defended
Ransom came out of Colorado State as one of the most versatile defensive athletes. He has played snaps at mike linebacker, edge rusher, and strong safety since he entered the league and is one of the hardest players to gameplan for
NFL Comparison: Isaiah Simmons

QB Barton Mason | 6’1” 194 lbs. | 21 years old 1-year pro | Houston
Round 1 Pick 6 in 2014
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 3,380 yards, 46.5% completion, 16 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, 2 fumbles lost
Barton Mason is not one of the best players, but his controversy is worth conversation. Mason was a spoiled party animal at the University of Houston, but his on-the-field play had him ranked among some of the best college quarterbacks. There were major character concerns for Mason, and an already ticked-off roster voiced their concerns on social media about the team being projected to take him. When those fears came to light, another rift grew between the players and the front office. Mason has not gelled with his teammates, with reports of missed meetings, elitist behaviors, and numerous fights surfacing all year. When the coaching staff was rumored to have been told to start him, a 16-game stretch of poor play followed. So, all eyes will be on Mason this offseason, to either see whether he makes a major shift or to see what drama will ensue.
NFL Comparison: Johnny Manziel, Ryan Leaf

Staff
GM Archie Beane: 12 years of front office experience. Beane has been in the Aquatics organization his whole career and has often been criticized as a puppet for the overly involved owner.
HC Terry Montague: Montague is a well-respected head coach in the MLF coming out of retirement this season. He used to be the Wasps head coach back when they won the championship and has a 77-47 record as a head coach. The team gave him a lucrative $10 million per year deal to come out of retirement and coach this underwhelming squad in 2015.
OC Kerry Blackwell: Blackwell was Montague’s tight ends coach and assistant head coach in Salt Lake City.
DC Norman Sherman: Former Clemson DC, hired this offseason by Montague.
Image
Owner: William Smith

Brief Summary: The Grizzlies are one of the basement franchises in the league. They recently were purchased by a new owner, tech guru William Smith. With the new direction, there is hope around the organization of positive change. They have seven playoff berths since 1990, but two of those have been in the last five years.
NFL Comparison: Cleveland Browns

Last Five Seasons
2010: 5-7, missed playoffs
2011: 6-6, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2012: 8-4, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2013: 3-9, missed playoffs
2014: 9-7, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
HB Victor Delarose | 5’11” 217 lbs. | 32 years old 10 years pro | Florida
Round 4 Pick 4 in 2005 by Kansas City Cobras
2014 Stats: 16 games played, 618 yards, 5.3 average, 7 touchdowns
Delarose is a confident and trustworthy veteran tailback who is looking for a new chance to be a starting tailback after being replaced in Kansas City. He will join a room of tailbacks with two second-year players in Tyrell Hathaway and Jeff Robinson. Delarose is still one of the fastest tailbacks in the MLF.
NFL Comparison: Fred Jackson

G Peter Layman | 6’3” 328 lbs. | 26 years old 2 years pro | Indiana
Round 1 Pick 15 in 2013
2014 Stats: 15 starts, 0 sacks allowed
Layman is a great athlete at the guard position. He is a young leader in the locker room and has quickly become a fan favorite.
NFL Comparison: Connor McGovern

T Ja’Huan Lowe | 6’7” 342 lbs. | 30 years old 6 years pro | Kent State
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2014
2014 Stats: 13 starts, 2 sacks allowed
Lowe is an absolute beast of a lineman and is a film geek inside the team headquarters. He loves everything about football and helps make the Grizzlies’ offensive line one of the best in the league.
NFL Comparison: Tyron Smith

Staff
GM Ricky Tyler: 18 years of front office experience. Most of those years with the Grizzlies and Cobras.
HC William Berg: Berg is the youngest head coach in the MLF at 38 years old. Known as a passing game guru, Berg turned USC into a passing powerhouse as their offensive coordinator for the past few years. The Grizzlies took a big chance taking the college offensive coordinator and making him the leader of their franchise.
OC Jack Avalos: Avalos was the run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the Grizzlies last season.
DC Harold Joy: Former Titans DC.
Image
Owner: Alani Kelekolio

Brief Summary: The Storm is the final expansion team for the MLF. They already have a dedicated though smaller fanbase and have their fervor matched by their energetic owner, former player Alani Kelekolio.
NFL Comparison: 2003 Houston Texans

Top Three Players
WR Frederick Ferrara | 6’5” 203 lbs. | 24 years old 1-year pro | Utah State
Round 2 Pick 12 in 2014
2014 Stats: 12 starts, 74 receptions, 1,002 yards, 13.5 average, 7 touchdowns, 13 drops
Ferrara is a jump ball specialist and a tremendous athlete. But his poor attitude and laziness have not endeared him to his teammates or coaches. He had a great first season, but if he does not commit to his craft and continues to grow a flash is all he will be.
NFL Comparison: Kelvin Benjamin

G Arnold Patrick | 6’2” 319 lbs. | 26 years old 2 years pro | Indiana
Round 2 Pick 14 in 2005
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4 sacks allowed
NFL Comparison: Trai Turner

CB Charles Bobo | 6’2” 210 lbs. | 28 years old 8 years pro | Virginia Tech
Round 5 Pick 6 in 2007 by Charlotte Hurricanes
1x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts,104 tackles, 157 targets/102 catches allowed, 1 forced fumble, 2 sacks, 3 interceptions, 25 passes defended, 1 defensive touchdown
Bobo surpassed all expectations when he came into the league as a fifth-round pick. From being a special teams ace to starting at corner on the outside and in the slot, Charles Bobo has been an absolute playmaker. He was selected by Honolulu in the expansion draft and played very well for them as their number one cornerback.
NFL Comparison: Mike Hilton, Jonathan Joseph

Staff
GM Elton Navos: 13 years of front office experience. Former Titans GM, a very charismatic leader.
HC James Winkler: Former Raiders assistant head coach, the franchise hopes his skill for offensive gameplans and attention to detail will help them develop a young roster.
OC Daniel Smith: Joined staff with Winkler in 2014.
DC Mason Gray: Joined staff with Winkler in 2014.
Image
Owner: Marcus Sarabi

Brief Summary: The Hurricanes are in a bit of a downturn, with their last playoff appearance coming in 2010. They won a league title in 1997 and were very competitive through the late 90s and early 2000s.
NFL Comparison: Carolina Panthers

Last Five Seasons
2010: 7-5, made playoffs, lost in Wildcard round
2011: 3-9, missed playoffs
2012: 5-7, missed playoffs
2013: 4-8, missed playoffs
2014: 8-8, missed playoffs

Top Three Players
C Mark LaFleur | 6’3” 319 lbs. | 25 years old 4 years pro | Kent State
Round 1 Pick 15 in 2011
2x All-Pro
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 2 sacks allowed
LaFleur is considered to be the best center in the MLF and one of the top linemen out there. He has had a very strong showing in his short career and is a beloved member of the locker room.
NFL Comparison: Rodney Hudson

S Nicolas Allred | 6’1” 184 lbs. | 26 years old 3 years pro | Central Michigan
Round 1 Pick 3 in 2012
2014 Stats: 11 starts, 45 tackles, 111 targets/61 catches allowed,1 forced fumble, 2 sacks, 1 interception, 10 passes defended
Allred is a versatile playmaker. Originally known for his ability to play in the box, he has become more dynamic playing in coverage as he developed.
NFL Comparison: Tyrann Mathieu

QB Rolland Bridges | 6’3” 230 lbs. | 30 years old 6 years pro | San Jose State
Round 1 Pick 9 in 2009 by Phoenix Kings
1x All-Pro, 2009 OROY
2014 Stats: 16 starts, 4.426 yards, 67% completion, 46 touchdowns, 7 interceptions
Bridges is coming off his best career season with the Phoenix Kings, but they were unwilling to break the bank for the MVP-runner up this past offseason. Charlotte will be paying to former rookie of the year for a one-year prove-it season to see if he can replicate those stunning results last year. Underwhelming seasons in between 2014 and 2009 left doubt for the Kings in the signal-caller, so it will be interesting to see if he can have some consistency in Charlotte.
NFL Comparison: Joe Flacco, Nick Foles

Staff
GM Brandon Willoughby: 18 years of front office experience. Preaches loyalty and likes to re-sign players.
HC Henry Wilbanks: Former Totems head coach, won the MLF championship with them in 2010. He has been coaching the Hurricanes since 2012 but with little success. He is on the last year of his deal, a make-or-break season for the former champion coach.
OC Rodney Pugh: Pugh was the Rangers OC before joining Wilbanks in Charlotte.
DC Jon Barlow: Joined staff with Wilbanks in 2012.

Benchride Analysts Jim Nox and Larry Moore give their notes and draft grades on the first round of the draft.

BOS 1-1: QB Jeffrey Cline | 6'3" 202 lbs. | 24 years old | UCF
Moore & Nox Scouting Grades: Physique B+, Athleticism C+, Technique C, Football IQ A, Intangibles C+
2014 Stats: 3,492 yards, 71.5% completion, 23 touchdowns, 9 interceptions
  • Cline is the best QB in this class for sure, but there are plenty of question marks regarding his ability in this weak QB class.
His arm is pedestrian by the rest of the league's standard. He is a smart and accurate passer, but there are some character concerns off the field.
He led #4 UCF to an 11-3 record and a CFP appearance, losing to eventual national champion Baylor. He is a gunslinger and a winner, so Boston hopes that keeps up.
Cline could have slipped into the second round, as there are not many teams projected to take QBs. This might have been a reach.

Moore & Nox Scouting Grades: Physique C, Athleticism B+, Technique C, Football IQ B, Intangibles D

  • Saucedo played guard, center, and tackle during his time at Tulane. He might convert in the MLF to guard full-time, but he is a versatile and power blocker.
He needs to focus on his technique to be a quality starter.
Saucedo had some off-the-field issues, most notably fights with teammates.

There are work ethic concerns, but the Dallas coaching staff are a good match to get the most out of him.

Moore & Nox Scouting Grades: Physique B, Athleticism C+, Football IQ C, Intangibles C+
