honestly I would just lineup darnell and rondale on the same side and send rondale deep, darnell on an out route, and harris in the flats all day long against Atlanta. expecting a big day on the ground too

Patriots rout Falcons in Tomlin's first return since Atlanta exodus
Mike Tomlin's tenure with the Atlanta Falcons lasted for one season as clashes with the front office resulted in a mutual parting of ways as Tomlin wanted more involvement with personnel decisions.

In his first ever return to Atlanta, rookies Keilan Britt, Tyrion James and Dre Agnew -- all drafted by Tomlin -- combined for nine tackles, six tackles for loss, five and a half sacks, one interception, sixty-one receiving yards and one touchdown (another that was called back) in the New England Patriots 42-14 boat racing of the Falcons on Sunday.

Mac Jones threw for 356 yards and three touchdowns, resting in the final two drives as rookie quarterback George Abraham finished the game. It was a tough day for Atlanta's Malik Willis who completed 66 percent of his passes but averaged six yards per attempt and was pressured eleven times, sacked six times and stripped once by Britt who also had an acrobatic interception off an attempted screen pass.

Pats defense swarm Zach Wilson, Jets offense in 23-10 win on TNF
New England Patriots head coach Mike Tomlin challenged its defense after allowing nearly 400 passing yards in the season opener against Cleveland.

In the last eight quarters, the defense has allowed just 24 points and three touchdowns, completely dominating two young talented quarterbacks in Malik Willis last week and the New York Jets' Zach Wilson in the Patriots 23-10 win on Thursday night.

Wilson was held to just 4.4 yards per attempt, completing just 52 percent of his 51 passes as New York had no answers on the ground either. Veteran running back Marlon Mack averaged four yards per carry on the night.

It was a slow start for New England's offense as well, settling for four field goals in the first half before Charleston Rambo got behind the defense in the third quarter for a touchdown to top off a drive that started with a 59-yard run by Damien Harris.

Harris finished with 148 yards rushing to lead New England while Mac Jones completed 16 of 29 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown.
