Wilson wraps up meetings, will sign soon

Russell Wilson has reportedly wrapped up a whirlwind tour of meeting with teams in the running for his services. The 33 year old passer had meetings with the Saints, Giants, Dolphins, Falcons, Broncos and Panthers. He declined meetings with the Texans and Washington.

"Been a crazy week. Heading home. Decision coming soon." Wilson's wife Ciara posted on social media.

Adam Schefter has indicated that he thinks the Saints and Giants are Wilson's favorites but mentioned that the Dolphins could be a dark horse due to location and Florida's tax laws.

Wilson signs four year deal with Giants

After months of rumors and speculation Russell Wilson is officially a New York Giant. Giants new head coach and GM duo Byron Leftwich and John Spytek have made a big splash early on in their tenure, securing a top five QB to hopefully lead them out of the playoff drought they have been caught in for several seasons.

Wilson seriously considered the Saints but landed with the Giants because of the location and Leftwich and Spytek's creativity and plan they pitched to Wilson.

The deal is for four years and includes a bonus paid in bitcoin along with several performance based bonuses that includes a large sum to be paid if Wilson leads the team to a Superbowl victory.

The Giants have good skill players, at least on paper, and the transition to Wilson should prove beneficial to Saquan Barkley, Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepherd, Darius Slayton, Kadarius Toney and Evan Engram.

Spytek and Leftwich will look to revamp the offensive line as well to get the most out of Wilson and his weapons.

Davante Adams to Pittsburgh headlines big day of signings

Aaron Rodgers' attempts to lure Davante Adams to Pittsburgh with him have proven successful as the former Packer wideout agreed to terms on a contract with the Steelers earlier today.

The addition of Adams, one of the best receivers in the game, gives the Steelers one of the top offensive skill groups in the league with RB Najee Harris, receivers Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool and Eric Ebron and Pat Freiermuth at tight end.

"It should be a lot of fun watching those guys." Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt explained. "A lot of us are pretty excited about it."

Titans miss on Njoku, sign Patterson

One of the positions the Titans are eager to upgrade this offseason is tight end. The first target they pursued was former Brown David Njoku. Earlier today Njoku signed with Washington for more than thr Titans were prepared to offer.

There was some good news today however as the team was able to sign RB/WR/returner Cordarrelle Patterson to a two year deal. Patterson will be used to spell Derrick Henry and his versatility makes him a nice addition.

Patterson totalled over 1,000 yards of offense and 13 total touchdowns for the Falcons in 2021.
