-Trey Lance threw a pair of second half touchdown passes. The 49ers defense harassed Justin Herbert, forcing two interceptions and Joey Slye hit a late field goal to secure a 31-28 win for the 49ers in the Superbowl.

Foreman isn't on my roster because I started before they signed him. McNichols is an option. He's only rated in the mid 60s on my roster but he played better than that. I tried to re-sign him but he wasn't biting on what I felt was a good offer. We'll see how he pans out. I do have Evans so if nothing else pans out I could run with him.

Despite reportedly mutual interest between the Lions and Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich the team announced today that their next head coach will be former Giants head coach Joe Judge. Judge's time in New York was far from successful and the decision has drawn very harsh criticism from analysts, players and other coaches.
Bruce Arians, who has strongly advocated for Leftwich the past two offseasons, went on a lengthy tirade and called the Lions a garbage franchise that "keeps hiring the same guy every 2 years".
Members of the Lions front office were not available for comment.

"Honestly we thought Detroit was a done deal." Giants owner John Mara said. "I'm not sure what happened there but as soon as we saw the Lions hired Joe we were on the phone. We're ecstatic."
A day after the Lions passed on former Bucs OC Byron Leftwich he and John Spytek, formerly the Bucs VP of Player Personnel, have agreed to be the Giants next head coach and GM.
"Very excited for the opportunity." Leftwich said. "Great to be working with John moving forward."
With the hiring of Leftwich all open head coaching positions are now full as just the Lions and Giants had openings following the Raiders announcement that Rich Bisaccia would be continuing as coach in January.
