Georgia heads into big recruiting weekend

Image

Athens, GA (Rivals.com) -- Two years in a row Georgia has put the emphasis on recruiting towards the Florida-Georgia game. It fared well for Georgia last year as they picked up the win against Florida. This year they are setting to do the same thing once again. Georgia has invited 7 high caliber recruits to the game in Jacksonville and are betting the fate of their recruiting class upon this game. A win could likely mean a very strong recruiting class and a loss would result in the current recruiting class falling apart.

Nowhere is that more evident than with the #1 WR in the country, Ben Harrell. Harrell is from Highpoint, Florida and it is rumored that his decision is down to Florida and Georgia. This is essentially a pivotal game for the recruitment of Harrell with the winner likely to have Harrell on campus next season. However, Harrell isn't the only potential big recruit that Georgia has this weekend. The following players are in Jacksonville for an official visit:

#10 T Tony Kane (6'7", 283 lbs, St. Simons, GA)
#10 G Dustin Dodds (6'4", 266 lbs, Redan, GA)
#1 C Thomas Franklin (5'11", 270 lbs, Chamblee, GA)
#1 WR Ben Harrell (6'3", 208 lbs, Highpoint, FL)
#1 MLB Mike Porter (6'2", 216 lbs, Venice, FL)
#5 WR Bryan Young (6'1", 202 lbs, Tuskegee, AL)
#14 WR Marcus Pryor (6'0", 178 lbs, Wichita Falls, TX)

Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall should start doing triple option. The passing game is not looking hot at all
