rolling along a bit now
Yeah, it was a little scary in the first half. I hope I don't stumble against an easy SEC opponent like last season.

Thanks for the comment Agent. We are hoping that we can put together a solid season. I'm doing playoffs this year so just have to make the top 4.

Bulldogs get first commitment of the season

Image

Athens, GA (Rivals.com) -- Sources within the Georgia program have confirmed that Georgia has received their first commitment of the 2015 recruiting class. Running back Sean Coles has committed to the Bulldogs following some conversations with head coach Mark Richt. This is great news for the Bulldogs who are likely to lose their top two running backs, Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall, to the NFL draft after this season. Coles likely won't challenge for the starting spot next season but can possible find himself in a rotation similar to what Marshall has currently. His size should help him when he does make it onto the field as he combines power with speed to be a all-around back.

Coles stands a 6'2" and weights 190 pounds. The #3 running back in the nation hails from Miami Lakes, FL. Georgia beat out scholarship offers from Auburn, Syracuse, and Akron.

Mason back to the bench following a decent outing against South Alabama

Image

Athens, GA (AP) -- Head coach Mark Richt has confirmed following a press conference that Hutson Mason will be heading back to the bench for the game against Vanderbilt. This comes shortly after he announced that quarterback Christian LeMay has cleared concussion protocol and is available for the next game against Vanderbilt.

LeMay took over from Mason after the two combined for 8 interceptions in two games with the majority of those thrown by Mason. LeMay then showed his ability to manage the game and finished the first Bulldog game this season without an interception. He was on pace to do the same thing before suffering a concussion in the game against Tennessee. Mason took over for LeMay against South Alabama but was off to a slow start and threw an early interception that was returned for a touchdown. Mason rallied to finish the game 11-18 with 175 yards and 2 touchdowns. That performance wasn't enough for Richt to keep him in the starting role.

In other injury news Chris Conley is making good progress on his back injury. Preliminary reports from the Bulldog staff have him available by the Auburn game.
