MARVIN LEWIS' TIME IS FINALY UP IN CINCY
BLACK MONDAY REPORT

The Cowboys, Ravens and Bengals all have parted ways with their coaches.

The Bengals finished the season 6-10 and have not made the playoffs since 2015. They are 0-7 in the playoffs under Lewis.

The Cowboys were 3-13. They have only made the playoffs twice under Garrett and they lost in the divisional round both times.

The biggest surprise is the Ravens letting Harbaugh go after a tough 3-13 season. Baltimore had not made the playoffs 2014 and had not won a playoff game since their 2012 Superbowl victory. Management was reportedly at odds with Harbaugh for not playing Lamar Jackson it what was clearly a lost season.

Lewis has hinted at retirement while Harbaugh and Garrett are likely to land on their feet in other head coaching jobs or perhaps as coordinators.

GAME REPORT
WILDCARD PLAYOFF

KING BLOWS THE GAME OPEN WITH A TOUCHDOWN ON A FAKE PUNT

ON TO THE NEXT ONE
Gordon Leads Chargers to Big Win Over Jaguars

Carson, California -
Melvin Gordon ran for 169 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries as the Chargers used a ball control offense to top the Jaguars 24-9. Jacksonville never got into the endzone, settling for a trio of Josh Lambo field goals. They did threaten late but fumbled in the redzone.

The game was broken open midway through the third quarter when the Chargers had a drive stall at the Jacksonville 39 yard line.

“We were going into the wind.” Coach Lynn explained. “We thought it was a little too far for a field goal based on what we had seen in practice throughout the week.”

After some convincing by Philip Rivers and Drew Kaser the staff decided to run a fake punt. Kaser took the snap and immediately threw the ball. Desmond King was there and hauled it in then scampered into the endzone, fighting threw Jalen Ramsey at the goal line.

“It was about 50/50 in practice.” King said. “I caught it when it counts though.”

Later in the third Lambo made it 17-9 with a 21 yard field goal and put some pressure back on the Chargers. They answered with a long drive which was capped with a five yard touchdown run by Gordon, making it 24-9 Los Angeles.

Jacksonville put together a but of a drive following the score but fumbled away any chance they had. The Chargers ran out the clock and finished up with a Geno Smith kneel down.

With the win the Chargers have earned a trip to New England to face likely MVP Tom Brady and the Patriots who finished the season 12-4 and earned the #2 seed and a bye.
