COACHING CAROUSEL

COWBOYS PICK HARBAUGH

John Harbaugh tallied 96 wins and a Superbowl title in his 11 years with the Ravens. A bad season and failure to move on to Lamar Jackson meant the end of his tenure there. He'll jump directly into one of the most sought after jobs in the NFL, coaching the Cowboys.

As for the Ravens, they have hired Lincoln Riley. Riley led Ohlahoma to back to back SEC Championships and compiled 25 wins in just two seasons with the Sooners. Oklahoma had one of the most potent offenses in the nation both years, even without Baker Mayfield in 2018.

The only other coaching vacancy, the Bengals, was filled from within with the team moving Teryl Austin up from defensive coordinator.

Marvin Lewis has taken a job with Yahoo Sports and has said he has no intentions of returning to coaching.

Jason Garrett has interviewed for a number of NFL offensive coordinator jobs as well as a few college jobs including Princeton, his alma mater.

Chargers/Verrett end talks with no official offer. Team has plenty of depth and Verrett wanted a top 20 deal. Team elected not to insult him with their offer. No hard feelings between sides.
