Miami players admitted to catching a peak of the score of Louisville - Florida State game during their own game vs. Duke. They had their own things to worry about as Miami trailed Duke for most of the first half before going on a run in the second.
When the game was secured, they hurried over and were pleased with the result.
"We want them to be undefeated," said linebacker Kevin Jones, " We want them to be healthy, playing at their best, all of that. We want the smoke."
College GameDay will be on campus and broadcasting the game when Miami comes out the smoke against #1 Florida State. Miami's last matchup with a #1 team resulted in them losing in heartbreaking fashion. Miami's last match-up with Florida State resulted in Florida State losing in heartbreaking fashion.
