Brady throws two touchdowns in Patriots 31-17 win over rival Jets
Death, taxes and the New England Patriots double-dipping by scoring before the end of the first half and opening the second half with points to put opponents away.

New England did their infamous double-dip to extend a tie game into a fourteen-point lead and then riding their defense to a 31-17 win over the New York Jets on Saturday.

The Jets defense, who had struggled coming into the game, had held New England scoreless for most of the first quarter and with two minutes left in the first half, the Jets had a 10-7 lead following Cody Parkey's field goal. And then Tom Brady found Josh Gordon in the endzone with zero seconds left on the clock to end the half and answered the second half with a seven-minute drive that seemed to be the beginning of the end for the Jets.

Sony Michel found the endzone to start the second half along with his first quarter touchdown as he rushed for 143 yards. He complemented the passing attack very well as Brady threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns, including one to Antonio Brown that marked his first touchdown as a Patriot.

Brown's former teammate in Pittsburgh, Jets running back Le'Veon Bell, had just eight carries for 36 yards as the Jets went away from the running game. He did catch seven passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets leading receiver was a former Patriot in Demaryius Thomas, playing for his fourth team in a calendar year. Thomas had seven catches for 82 yards but with two drops, including two on third-down.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Preview
DynastySports.com

The New England Patriots are one of six teams to be undefeated three weeks into the season. The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are among the five teams that are win-less. Right in the middle of the AFC East are the 1-2 Buffalo Bills, where they have seemingly been for the past two decades.

Tom Brady and the seemingly unbeatable Patriots will ride into Buffalo on Sunday afternoon with the top offense in the sport and the top scoring defense. There aren't a lot of weaknesses on this New England team and they're aware of that, precisely why the Bills are preaching and praying for a perfect game come Sunday.

"We have to execute," says quarterback Josh Allen, "Come out strong, come out fast and just keep going. We know they're a tough team and they're going to make some plays but we have to answer."

Buffalo won their first game with Allen throwing three touchdowns in the win over the Jets. They then lost to cross-state rival New York Giants despite Allen throwing three touchdowns once again in a 30-24 loss. It was then both the offense and the defense turn to be anemic in the 35-14 loss to Cincinnati.

In all three games though, Allen's thrown at least two touchdowns and is completing 70 percent of his passes, an 18 percent increase from last season.

Patriots offense keeps firing behind Brady, Brown in win over Bills
Asking anyone to shut down the New England Patriots offense might be too much of an ask. One can only hope to slow them down and limit them to under forty points.

Buffalo failed to do both.

The Patriots scored over 40 points yet again behind Antonio Brown's three touchdowns and Tom Brady's 356 passing yards in the 42-9 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

New England, who continues their string of eight games of not playing a playoff team from last season, was able to move the ball up and down the field on the Bills, amassing over 399 yards of total offense. They also converted 53 percent of their first downs compared to just 21 percent from Josh Allen and the Bills.

Allen put together another 300-yard performance in a loss, throwing for 306 yards and a career high 49 pass attempts. Frank Gore only got 11 carries and was held to 21 yards as Buffalo was forced to abandoned the running game early in the game.

New England Patriots at Washington Redskins Preview
DynastySports.com

Tom Brady is three-yards short of passing Peyton Manning on the all-time passing yards list. He needs nine more touchdowns to top Peyton in touchdowns.

If he continues at the pace he's been on, Washington better watch out he doesn't break both this week.

The win-less Redskins will host the undefeated Patriots in a match-up between the haves and the have-not. New England is undefeated with the top total offense, top passing offense, top 2 rushing offense and number one scoring offense complemented with the top scoring defense in the league. Washington is 26th in scoring defense, 27th in rushing defense, 29th in passing defense and 31st in total offense.

Simply put, Sunday should be a bloodbath.
