Fields leaves game with injury after sack-riddled first half in loss to Tampa
Rookie quarterbacks that get sacked seven times in a half don't last very long in the NFL.

Josh McDaniels made that loud and clear on Sunday.

Justin Fields was great against Tampa, when he was in the game and not on his back. Fields left the game with a sternum injury and his replacement Tyree Jackson got the full blunt of Tampa's aggressive defense, sacking Jackson five more times en route to a 31-9 rout.

"We have to do a better job of protecting the quarterback," said McDaniels, who continued to be critical of the offensive line in his post game presser.

Sony Michel was also held yard-less through his first five carries before finishing the game with 49 yards rushing. Rookie James Cook on the other side of the field had a blast with 139 yards on 26 carries.

Fields, Patriots rally back from rough first half to down Dolphins
Justin Fields couldn't have had a worst first half. He threw three interceptions, was sacked several times and the offense couldn't get anything going.

And then he put together a successful two-minute offense to score right before the end of the half and then responded with another touchdown on the first drive of the second half, a Patriot staple as New England owned the second half to come away with the 31-23 win.

Fields was magical in the fourth as was the running game which helped paved the way for D'Eriq King's two-yard touchdown run with 1:42 left in the game to put New England up by eight.

Tua Tagovailoa, who torched New England in his one game against them last season, was sacked twice on the final drive as his Hail Mary heaves into the endzone fell flat. Tagovailoa finished 19 of 33 for 200 yards and an interception, a far cry from his last performance against New England.

Scoring Summary
Quarter 1
6:29 (MIA) M. Gay, 38 Yd FG
