MONARCHS SIGN DE'ANTHONY THOMAS
The Monarchs and RB/WR/RET De'Anthony Thomas have agreed to terms on a two year contract. Base salary is $2.5 million with several incentives for playing time, scoring and awards that could make it worth over $5 million.
"We're very excited to use him in a number of ways." Head coach Jason Garrett said after the signing.

MONARCHS SWING TRADE FOR LB BLAKE CASHMAN
The Monarchs and Jets have made a trade. The Monarchs have sent 4th and 7th round picks to the Jets in exchange for linebacker Blake Cashman. Cashman was a fifth round pick by the Jets in 2019 and recorded 51 tackles and a sack as a reserve for the team last season.
"Great young player that can be part of the core of this great defense we're building." Team owner Ronald Crump tweeted after the trade was finalized.

The Monarchs have signed CB Trae Waynes, formerly of the Vikings, to a two year contract worth $11.5 million. Waynes has six career interceptions and nearly 300 tackles.
