White's DROY campaign halted as he heads to injury report along with WR Leonard
Fresh off arguably his best game of the season, Toronto's leading tackler Case White is expected to be out for the rest of the regular season with a broken collarbone.

White had a season high 90.0 PFF grade against the Chicago Bears as his season tally on tackles reached 116 along with 5.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss. White has excelled in coverage as well with 10 pass breakups and leads the team in snaps played by a margin of 105.

"We'll see where he's at in a couple of weeks," said Huskies head coach Eric Bienemy on White's prospects for returning in the playoffs, "You never know so just day by day, week by week and we'll see how it goes."

Toronto will also be without oft-injured receiver Richard Leonard for likely the rest of the regular season. Leonard dislocated his hip against Chicago, just when he was starting to get into the groove of things after missing several games this season due to an arm injury. On the season, Leonard has 33 catches for 447 yards and a touchdown in eight games.

Replacing White will most likely be a combination of safety Charlie Pelfrey on passing situations (35 tackles, sack, interception) and linebacker Michael Pinckney (2 tackles) as a traditional inside linebacker on short yardage situations. Pelfrey has plenty of experiences this season, being deployed as a box safety and also as a sub linebacker, typically alongside White.

This should lead to an increased role for fellow first round pick, linebacker Nate Culberson. Culberson has 75 tackles on the season along with nine tackles for loss and four sacks with an interception. He will likely take over as the signal caller.
