Inside the Front Office with Assistant GM Stephon White
Roster Forecast

Salary Cap: $229M
Salaries: $176M
Penalties: $3.71M
Cap Space: $49M
Rookie Reserve: $8.01M

Quarterback
Under Contract: Trevor Lawrence [93 Ovr, $34.3M] | Jacob Eason [69 Ovr, $2.5M] | Eric Cooper [64 Ovr, $730k]
Expiring: Matthew Stafford [65 Ovr]
Top FA Available: D'Eriq King [76 Ovr] | Marcus Mariota [71 Ovr] | Jacoby Brissett [71 Ovr]

White's notes: A decision regarding Stafford will need to be made, likely moving on or bringing him at the veteran's minimum as an insurance policy to compete with Eason and Cooper. Ideally, Eason and Cooper are QB2 and QB3 for next few seasons.

Running back
Under Contract: Angel McBride [85 Ovr, $2.97M] | Sherwin Florence [75 Ovr, $810k] | Kyree Sampson [71 Ovr, $1.16M]
Expiring: Melvin Gordon [68 Ovr] | Devonta Freeman [66 Ovr]
Top FA Available: Derrick Henry [90 Ovr] | Kareem Hunt [85 Ovr] | Zamir White [81 Ovr] | Nyheim Hines [78 Ovr] | Todd Gurley [76 Ovr]

White's notes: Gordon was serviceable and Freeman never got a chance to play. Would like to bring in a versatile, young back into the backfield as it Florence expires next season and re-signing him isn't guaranteed.

Wide receiver
Under Contract: Rondale Moore [85 Ovr, $11.5M] | Richard Leonard [77 Ovr, $990k]
Expiring: Chris Godwin [93 Ovr] | Aaron Fuller [73 Ovr] | Chase Claypool [72 Ovr] | Mike Harley [67 Ovr] | Ryan Aguilar [65 Ovr]
Top FA Available: Keenan Allen [83 Ovr] | T.J. Vasher [81 Ovr] | Devonta Smith [79 Ovr] | James Washington [78 Ovr] | Amon Ra St. Brown [78 Ovr]

White's notes: Godwin's disappearance in the Super Bowl doesn't bode well for his wishes of a mega contract. With the tag coming in at $19.3 million, a decision will need to be made on whether or not he is trade-able at that price tag. Las Vegas was willing to offer a first for him back in November. Godwin aside, this position is in desperate need of new blood. This position will need to be addressed, multiple times, in the off-season.

Tight end
Under Contract: Brycen Hopkins [75 Ovr, $4M] | Shawn Starr [76 Ovr, $840k]
Expiring: Kenny Yeboah [72 Ovr] | Harrison Bryant [71 Ovr]
Top FA Available: Brevin Jordan [78 Ovr] | Gerald Everett [77 Ovr] | Jonnu Smith [76 Ovr] | Christopher Herndon IV [75 Ovr] | Ricky Seals-Jones [75 Ovr]

White's notes: Starr and Hopkins remain good bargains while Yeboah and Bryant are guys we want to bring back.

Offensive Line
Under Contract: T Dominique Vernon [85 Ovr, $6.03M] | G Edwin Rankin [79 Ovr, $2.8M] | C Netane Muti [81 Ovr, $6.27M] | G Drew Mackey [84 Ovr,$3.77M] | G Cole Allman [68 Ovr, $710k] | T Collin Nortman [81 Ovr, $4.77M]
Expiring: T Garrett Bolles [65 Ovr] |
Top FA Available: G Joel Bitonio [79 Ovr] | G Trai Turner [79 Ovr] | C Mitch Morse [78 Ovr] T Taylor Lewan [75 Ovr]

White's notes: The offensive line is set for many years to come. Bolles might be brought back, might also invest in an interior offensive line in later rounds of draft.

Defensive Line
Under Contract: DE Chase Young [94 Ovr, $20.4M] | DT Da'Ron Payne [85 Ovr, $8.72M] | DE Greg O'Neal [75 Ovr, $1.05M] | DE Charles Bell [71 Ovr, $810k] | DT Stewart Roberts [70 Ovr, $440k] |
Expiring: DE Willis Powers [69 Ovr] | DT Deadrin Senat [67 Ovr]
Top FA Available: DT Fletcher Cox [88 Ovr] | DE Da'Shawn Hand [79 Ovr] | DE Xavier Thomas [77 Ovr] | DE Greg Rousseau [77 Ovr]

White's notes: Another area that needs addressing in the run stuffing department. Payne getting up there in age and would like to bring in a run stopper to replace O'Neal in short yardage situations, either in FA or draft.

Linebacker
Under Contract: OLB Nolan Garrison [83 Ovr, $7.62M] | ILB Cole Holcomb [79 Ovr, $7.74M] | ILB Troy Dye [76 Ovr, $2.18M] | OLB Malik Jefferson [70 Ovr, $1.89M] | ILB Michael Pinckney [66 Ovr, $870k] | OLB Joe Jackson [65 Ovr, $980k] | ILB Christian Jackson [63 Ovr, $240k]
Expiring: None.
Top FA Available: ILB Germaine Pratt [76 Ovr] | ILB Blake Cashman [76 Ovr] | ILB Alex Anzalone [76 Ovr]

White's notes: In addressing the weakness against the run, would love to trade up in draft and select one of the elite interior ILB, if not both. Moving Holcomb and/or Dye is not out of the question.

Secondary
Under Contract: S Jamal Adams [96 Ovr, $5.83M] | CB Ashley Konrad [89 Ovr, $3.1M] | CB Donovan Bigby [82 Ovr, $1.66M] | S Keanu Neal [81 Ovr, $13.3M] | S Jalen Thompson [78 Ovr, $4.3M] | CB Troy Pride Jr. [75 Ovr, $1.99M] | S Charlie Pelfrey [72 Ovr, $2.68M] | S Javelin Guidry [73 Ovr, $900k] | CB Dorian Burnett [70 Ovr, $900k]
Expiring: CB Chidobe Awuzie [82 Ovr] | S Johnathan Abram [74 Ovr] | S Jaquan Johnson [68 Ovr]
Top FA Available: S Caden Sterns [82 Ovr] | S Ifeatu Melifonwo [83 Ovr] | CB Kyle Fuller [77 Ovr] | CB C.J. Henderson [76 Ovr]

White's notes: Awuzie is past his prime, time to move on and find another nickel corner as neither Pride Jr. or Burnett are quite ready. Safety position is solidified, need to move Neal's $13.3 million cap hit which will free up $8.4 million.

Special Teams
Under Contract: K Stanley James [76 Ovr, $580k]
Expiring: P Tress Way [78 Ovr]

White's notes: Need to target a punter in later rounds of draft, Way getting up there in age.

Inside the Pack by James Bazemore ‣ Dynasty Sports

‣ Huskies place tag on WR Godwin, to work on trade

The Toronto Huskies have placed a franchise tag on wide receiver Chris Godwin, with the cap hit coming in at a hefty $19.3 million.

Godwin, 29, has 514 carer catches for 8,250 yards and 74 touchdowns. In his four seasons with Toronto, Godwin reached at least 1,000 yards and owns all of the franchise's record in receiving. However, the two sides are far apart and the tag is considered a placeholder as Toronto is looking to trade Godwin. The likely destination for Godwin seems to be the Las Vegas Raiders, who offered a first round pick for Godwin back in November.

‣ Huskies re-sign pair of tight ends in Bryant, Yeboah

The Toronto Huskies have re-signed tight ends Harrison Bryant and Kenny Yeboah. Yeboah's deal comes in at $6.66 million over three years and Bryant is $4.1 million over two years.

‣ Toronto to target Rousseau, Cox

The Toronto Huskies top targets in free agency are reportedly defensive end Greg Rousseau and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox. The team hopes to land both of them, placing Rousseau opposite of Nolan Garrison and having Cox in the inside to pair with Da'Ron Payne on rushing downs.

Toronto is limited in cap with just over $20 million left following the tag with Godwin.

Godwin traded along with Neal and Holcomb and QB Eason as Huskies open free agency with trades to free up cap space
Sebastian Barnes -- Dynasty Sports Staff Writer

The Toronto Huskies have traded wide receiver Chris Godwin and quarterback Jacob Eason to the Las Vegas Raiders for the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. They then proceeded to trade safety Keanu Neal and linebacker Cole Holcomb to the Seattle Seahawks for the seventh overall pick.

With Bobby Wagner's retirement, Seattle was desperate for a replacement as well as reloading their defense in an effort to make another push while quarterback Russell Wilson remains an elite quarterback.

The moves cleared over $25 million in cap space as well as land Toronto two more first round picks after having none just a few months ago.

Fletcher Cox, Greg Rousseau and Devonta Smith open free agency for Toronto
Sebastian Barnes -- Dynasty Sports Staff Writer

After two trades that gave them some salary cap relief, the Toronto Huskies have signed defensive tackle Fletcher Cox to a one year, $14 million contract as well as signing pass rusher Greg Rousseau to a three year, $25 million deal.

The team replaced Chris Godwin with receiver Devonta Smith netting a three year $14.9 million extension while also adding receiver Anthony Schwartz on a two year, $3.82 million deal.

Cox, 34, gives Toronto one of the toughest defensive lines in football with him joining Da'Ron Payne on the inside as well as pass rushers Chase Young and Nolan Garrison. Cox has primarily been used as a defensive tackle in a 4-3 scheme with the Philadelphia Eagles but will likely play five technique opposite of Young in the base package.

Rousseau, 24, has failed to live up to his first-round pick status during his stint with the Green Bay Packers but did register at least five sacks in his final two seasons despite playing just ten games last season. Rousseau will likely play outside linebacker opposite of Garrison.

In Smith, Toronto hopes to replace Chris Godwin the same way they replaced Terry McLaurin with Richard Leonard. Widely considered a bust after being selected with the seventh overall pick, Smith has never reached his potential with his best year coming in 2023 when he had 39 catches for 604 yards and seven touchdowns in just eleven games.

With Smith and Rousseau, Toronto hopes to turn their careers around and extract that first round talent while with Fox, it's a one-year deal hoping to maximize one of his last seasons.

CB Kai Harvey :: 6'2", 211lbs, Arizona State :: B+ Zone Coverage, B Press, B Play Recognition :: 4.52 40 Yd Dash (23rd CB)

White's notes: White and Culberton are two highest rated players on the board, regardless of position or need. Willing to trade pick 20 to ensure that both are selected.

Round 2, Pick 31
Targets: DE Oliver Johns, California | S Daevon Brown, Wisconsin | CB T. J. Black, Utah State | CB Daevonte Nicholas, Rice | DE Wesley Sutton, Boise State

White's notes: Jamal Adams is locked in for a few more seasons as is Jalen Thompson but Thompson is replaceable. Pelfrey has failed to do so leaving the door open for someone like Brown to step in with both his range and ability to play in the box. Nicholas out of Rice is a decent option here as well as Brown might go early in the second round.

Round 3, Pick 31st

Dream Selection: S Denard Hayes :: 5'10", 205lbs, Tennessee :: B Pursuit, B Awareness, Hit Power :: 4.22 20 Yd Shuttle (3rd FS)

White's notes: If Brown isn't available and we go with another option in the second round, the option here will be to go with Hayes. Even if Brown is selected, you can never have another guys that can run, cover and hit.
