Good win to cap the season. Maybe you'll get a good bowl against someone you haven't played before/for a while
Since I wasn't able to do the playoffs, I decided to get rid of auto bids for bcs bowls so we get different matchups. Hopefully we get some more pac-12 and ACC matchups over the years, it's mostly been Big Ten/Big 12

wat sliders u using brah?
I started off with Jarrod 21 sliders but have adjusted over the years to have more variance as opposed to just high scoring games.

speed threshold - 80 (might be the most important. I prioritize speed in recruiting and the CPU doesn't always so you end up with low 80s something 70s speed rated safeties. Deep routes are then always open if this rating is below 50 I've found. 80 still allows for the occasional big plays on both sides but a more realistic feel imo

user/cpu
qb acc 10/30
pass blocking 10/55
wr catching 25/55
rb ability 35/100
run blocking 0/75
pass coverage 45/100
interception 30/75
rush defense 25/100
tackling 50/100
fg power 45/50
fg acc 0/40
punt power 45/50
punt accuracy 65/100

The biggest change I've done is implemented some additional house rules that might not be on the front page of this thread
- no user switching except for intentional jump balls to receivers
- no option plays on 3rd and 4th downs
- only 2 option plays per drive
- no option plays in the redzone
- no unrealistic positioning of user defensive players ie don't bring a safety with deep third responsibility down in the box to also aid against the run.
- try to call a realistic game on both defense and offense with a mix of personnel packages, formations and play types

USF OC Francois Jr. will call plays during bowl game, next season
Anthony Washington -- The Tampa Bay Chronicles

USF offensive coordinator Malcolm Francois Jr. will be the one calling the offense's plays during their yet to be determined bowl game, USF head coach Malcolm Francois Sr. announced on Monday, a duty he will carry into next season.

Francois Jr, who is the son of the Bulls head coach and a former player, was elevated to offensive coordinator last off-season after spending the past three seasons as the team's wide receivers coach and a graduate assistant and recruiting coordinator before that following his playing career with the Bulls.

Francois Sr. intimated that he'll still be involved in the game planning process as an aid but that Francois Jr. will have "full autonomy in establishing the identity of the offense and game day play calling responsibilities" going forward.

At 29, Francois Jr. is one of the college football's top recruiters, landing two five-star recruits at the position in Max McDonald and Robert Givens in back to back recruiting classes, following it up with three five-star receivers in a single class this year. Francois Jr's promotion not only helps keep this current recruiting class in check and aids future classes, it also signals that Francois Sr. will likely turn down any offers from other top schools that could have openings this offseason in Auburn, Texas A&M and Nebraska.

Bulls return to state of Texas, Big XII territory with bowl matchup against Kansas
Cooper Byrd -- Dynasty Sports Staff Writer

The last time USF faced the Kansas Jayhawks, they ended the night by holding up the Big XII trophy. The Cotton Bowl trophy will be on the line this time around as the fourteen ranked USF Bulls take on the nine-win Kansas Jayhawks.

The two teams will face off on January 3rd in Dallas as Kansas tries to reach ten wins for the just the second time since 2017. Steve Ellis replaced the retired Jerry Kill this season and led them to their sixth straight season of at least eight wins after reaching that mark just once in the previous ten years.

Kansas starting quarterback Tyrone West will try to suit up one last time for the Jayhawks after missing the past few games with an injury. The fifth-year senior is averaging 237.7 yards per game with fifteen touchdowns on the year. Replacing him has been Derrick Manning, another fifth-year senior, whose had success with Kansas' 12th ranked offense.

It remains to be seen if Heisman candidate Roger Shaw Jr. for USF will also play in this game.

USF RB Shaw joins Ohio State's Griffin, Oklahoma's Woods to become third two-time winner
Jessica West -- SI.com

University of South Florida running back Roger Shaw Jr. did it again, winning the 2032 Heisman Trophy to become the third athlete to win the award twice, joining Ohio State's Archie Griffin and Oklahoma's Nathan Woods with Shaw and Griffin being the only two to do it in consecutive seasons.

As a junior, Shaw rushed for 1,870 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground, matching his rushing touchdown total from his sophomore campaign and also adding six more receiving touchdowns while leading the Bulls in receiving.

For the third year in a row, Alabama quarterback Steven Russell finished top three in the Heisman, this time third behind Wisconsin's Jon Palmer. Russell bested Shaw last season for the Maxwell Trophy but this year, Shaw was able to sweep the awards, winning the Walter Camp, Doak Walker and Maxwell as well.

Russell did edge out Palmer for the Davey O'Brien Award, his second of his career. The two quarterbacks will face off in the national championship game.

The sophomore running back also won the Walter Camp and Doak Walker Award over Wood.
