-Despite Cameron's early criticisms, Ryan has seemingly impressed throughout minicamps and is slated as #2 on the unofficial depth chart. Good start for the first-round steal.

-It's been underwhelming for Beck this offseason, and he has quickly fallen behind Ryan and Smith in the quarterback battle. He'll need to use training camp and the preseason to regain some ground.
QB|#10|Shaun King|Tulane|31|7 years
-King is an interesting piece in this QB mix. Without him, this is one of the youngest, most inexperienced QB rooms in the league. While he isn't in the QB1 running per se, his veteran presence may push out one of the other competitors if they don't win the job.
QB|#11|Alex Smith|Utah|24|3 years
-Smith has meshed well in Cameron's offense so far and has the lead on the QB job. With Ryan's selection, Miami is likely not Smith's last stop, but he has a chance to rebuild his stock with solid play this season. Should he win the job, that is.

-Leak was signed to a futures contract at the end of the season. And against the odds, he has hung around this offseason. Still, he's a longshot to make the team, and reps will be hard to come by as the last man on the depth chart. He's a good, developmental practice squad QB.

-The tension between Brown and Cameron has seemingly died down, and Brown is expected to be present for training camp. This offense needs him, to say the least.

-Ginn was 2007's AFC offensive rookie of the year, racking up 910 yards and nine touchdowns and a kick return touchdown. He's looking to build upon that in 2008.

-After four seasons in Chicago, Berrian signed with the Dolphins in free agency and will likely be the #1 target with Marty Booker getting older. He finished 2007 with 80 catches, 821 yards, and four touchdowns.

-Texas Tech product Amendola was signed immediately following the draft and has impressed so far in minicamps. Keep an eye on him during the preseason to make a push to make the roster.

-Zach Thomas has been a staple of this franchise since 1996 and has seen plenty of ups and downs in his career here. 2007 was one of his finest seasons, getting a career-high eight sacks. This is his last season, and when asked if there was anything that could keep him around, his response was simple: "If we make it to the AFC championship and don't win, I'll come back to get that damn ring."
