Actually would have given me even more trouble if he hadn’t been in-and-out of the game with minor injuries. Probably should have had 2TDs but went down mid-drive 3-4 times.

WEEK 9
Defense makes a statement!

Its a busy week in the Ravens coaching room as 6 recruits are set to visit this week for the game against Queens. Among the visitors are:

3*** OLB (#25) - Victor Bolen 6"2 207 Gloucester Point, VA
Victor is an aggressive, coverage LB with plenty of power to take down HBs off the edge. He led his high school team in tackles, sacks, and forced fumbles. Could possibly play some SS for us due to his coverage abilities. Tony has this guy a low 4**** after seeing game tapes so we need to be all in to get him. The family has been given a suite at the Chateau Laurier during their stay in Ottawa.

3*** ATH (#53) - Brad Weber 6'1 194 Oakland, CA
A talented multi-position star at Oakland Central HS, Brad has the speed and burst to be an excellent WR or DB, as well as having tremendous arm strength. His passing lacks accuracy however, and would need a few years before he could be relied upon in our system. We need this guy though, his raw talent could put us in a great position in 2-3 years.

2** C (#54) - Brent Scott 6'1 297 Henderson, NC
A diamond in the rough, Brent has shown much more promise than his original 2** rating would indicate. Our scouts have him ranked as a 3*** with potential to play both C and RT due to his strong pass blocking. Look to see him in a Ravens uniform next fall as we are the only school he's really considering anymore.

***Pep Rally Before Toronto Game***
“”AC/DC -Thunderstruck plays””

The players rush into the gym behind Rodney the Raven. The crowd starts growing more and more excited as players high five fans and pump up the crowd on their way to the seating area.

Coach Weber: HELLO RAVENS FANS!!! Thanks to everyone who came last weekend and helped us send those pompous Queens asses back down the 416 in shame!! Now let go down to Toronto and show them what the Ravens are all about! I’m gonna turn it over to Wes now...he’s got some thoughts on the Varsity Blues...

**CROWD ERUPTS**

QB Wes Campbell: Yeaaaaaa that’s the hype we want! U of T won’t know what hit them! Oh wait...that’ll be us knocking y’all’s asses out!! And this time...”Varsity Blues”....there ain’t gonna be no fuckin’ VanDerBeek ridin’ in to save you in this script!!

**Rodney the Raven takes a handoff from Campbell, pretends to score a TD at half court and spikes the ball HARD**
**CROWD ERUPTS AGAIN**
**Band plays fight song and players exit**

***TSN 1200 BREAKING NEWS***

The CanAm Conference along with Carleton and Ball State Universities, are proud to announce the formation of a new rivalry series! Following in the wake of their thrilling 69-63 ESPN Instant Classic earlier this season, The Bird of the North Trophy will be awarded annually to the winner, played at a neutral site to be announced at a later date. Talks are ongoing with Ford Field in Detroit, Soldier Field in Chicago and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. There have also been rumors of several major Big Ten schools showing interest in hosting the game during a week when the primary occupant is on the road.

Carleton officials also said that Syracuse University has reached out to them, offering the use of the Carrier Dome once again. The Ravens were able to negotiate last minute facilities arrangements with Syracuse this season, after several Stony Brook players were unable to obtain proper documentation in time to travel to Ottawa. The Ravens will already visit Syracuse once next year in a non-conference matchup, kicking off a 3 year series with the Orange as a thank you for the stadium usage.
