THE HOUSTON DEFENSE FACES OFF AGAINST THE PITTSBURGH OFFENSE AT THE TWO YARD LINE ON A FOURTH AND GOAL IN THE FOURTH QUARTER

TEXANS FALL TO 1-2 WITH CLOSE LOSS IN PITTSBURGH

An early missed extra point and failed fourth and goal situations on both side of the ball were key factors in Houston's week three loss at Pittsburgh. The Steelers Chris Boswell hit the go ahead field goal with seven seconds left in the game. Ka'imi Fairbairn missed an extra point following Houston's first quarter touchdown as well as a 57 yard field goal attempt later in the game. Fairbairn's career long is 55 yards and the kick came up just short. Houston took a late lead with just over a miute left to play on a Fairbairn kick but the defense couldn't slow down Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense which set Boswell up for the game winner.
