time to open the season with a solid win. Like others have said the next four weeks will be a gauntlet. Good luck!
Nobody is surviving the Big Ten this year unmarked, it's going to be fun

Just finally getting caught up. Brutal way to end the year but at the same time a Minnesota rebuild beating Ohio state and Georgia wouldn't lay the same foundation. Losing 29 players is rough... What do you have your settings at for Transfers for you and the CPU.?? This year's schedule is brutal. 8 games against Top-25 teams with almost a whole new roster, I think at this point if you can come even close to 8 wins you have to consider that success.

Good point, losing everyone, you think we would drop.

That was my thought too, winning the Big Ten would seem a little fake in the first year. I will have to check the settings, it is whatever the Operation Sports settings are, I copied those but this was my first time ever doing a CFB offseason so I'm sure I messed some things up to have so many people leave. Last year felt a little easy at times but other times felt like a struggle so we will see how it goes with this type of schedule.

It would be insane even if I didn't add Miami. Just a bad draw but last year we had a really good conference draw so it evens out.

WEEK 1 RECAP: Champ goes down, Aggies embarrassed

The headline result came out of Lexington, where #13 Kentucky stunned defending national champion #2 Miami, 42–35. The Wildcats put together a dominant second half, handing Miami its first regular season since week 4 of last season. "The boys were ready for this one, we had this circled all off-season and wanted to start the season strong." Coach Mark Stoops said after the win. "This is the jumping off point for a great season."

After losing to Ohio State to start last season, Texas went back to the Big Ten, this time to Happy Valley. The #3 Longhorns put up 56 points in a route, winning 56-35. "Last year the lights were a little bright to start the season but this year we are prepared and focused." Arch Manning said after throwing four touchdown passes.

#1 Ohio State rolled easily at home, beating UConn 48–14 behind another standout performance from star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. Ryan Day called the win "Professional and disciplined" the Buckeyes have FCS East and Arkansas State the next two weeks before #5 Oregon comes to the Shoe.

In the SEC, it was a tale of extremes. #9 Florida blasted Cal 63–10, while #19 LSU fell 30–27 in overtime to #14 Louisville. LSU put up 10 points in the extra frame, but Louisville answered with 13, sealing one of the weekend’s most dramatic finishes. Meanwhile, #11 Duke cruised past #18 Texas A&M 63–10, raising early concerns in College Station.

The Big Ten had a mixed showing. #17 Michigan survived Iowa State 38–24, needing a strong fourth quarter to pull away. Maryland pushed #4 Georgia to the wire, but the Bulldogs held on for a 38–31 victory in Atlanta. #15 Notre Dame, coming off a Week 0 loss to SMU, stabilized with a comfortable win over an FCS opponent, though defensive concerns remain after the Irish allowed 275 rushing yards in their opener.

The Heisman race
Ryan Williams (WR, Alabama) — 6 catches, 97 yards
Jeremiah Smith (WR, Ohio State) — 10 catches, 127 yards, 1 TD
Ahmad Hardy (RB, Clemson) — 145 rushing yards, 1 TD
Ty Simpson (QB, Tennessee) — 281 passing yards, 3 total TDs
Sam Leavitt (QB, Arizona State) — 221 passing yards, 2 TDs
