Nice bounce back Game 5 win man! Loved Kane in San Jose. You got them on the ropes now, go for the KO!
Kane is a serious gamer. It sucks that all the off-the-ice stuff kind of ruined his brand a bit. He's legit.
For real man. All those off ice Headlines lol.

1 vs. 4
Rogers Arena, Edmonton, AB
Kane pots two more, Malkin's marker comes too late. There will be a Game 7

GAME SUMMARY
Could the NHL have asked for anything more from a Stanley Cup Finals? Think about it - there's the generational talent that pulled the league out of obscurity fresh off of a season-long lockout in Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The kid of legend who sort of lived up to the legend. And then you have the latest one. Connor McDavid - being drafted to the Great One's team and being the best thing we've seen in a long time.
They face off under two very different scenarios; Crosby and his veteran-laden team proving that experience is key as he adds on to his already Hall of Fame-worthy resume while McDavid tries to finally get to the mountaintop and add a Stanley Cup to his legacy. And they are playing each other in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Which will now officially go to a sudden death Game 7. The Oilers managed to fight for another day after dominating the Penguins back home in Edmonton in a 4-1 Game six victory.
"The scenario is this," commented Penguins' head coach Mike Sullivan, their head coach who led them to back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. "We need to finish our games. We cannot play penalty-ridden hockey and expect to compete with them. We're dying to finish off penalty kills, and our offense can't get started. We have to start there."
The Penguins took an early penalty, like Coach Sullivan mentioned, thanks to Penguins star forward Evgeni Malkin tripping up Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard. The team managed to kill off the penalty thanks to excellent goaltending from goalie John Gibson, but their back broke after Leon Draisaitl - notably quiet throughout the Finals - snapped one past Gibson, low blocker side.
The Oilers would double up early in the second period thanks to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins continuing to provide excellent secondary scoring for Edmonton, grabbing his eighth goal of the playoffs off a two-on-one feed with Zach Hyman after Kris Letang was caught pinching in the offensive zone.
Evander Kane would continue to have his Conn Smythe-worthy Finals run, adding two late goals for the Oilers before Malkin himself ruined Oilers' goaltender Stuart Skinner's shutout big with a one-timer that ripped past him.
The Penguins are expected to make some lineup changes ahead of their Game 7 matchup, back home at PPG Paints Arena.

2 vs. 3
PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
Penguins clinch Stanley Cup championship thanks to Bemstrom's OT game-winner

GAME SUMMARY
"I think I'll have to chalk this up to being the best moment of my life."
That was the post-game comment from Penguins forward Emil Bemstrom after the Pittsburgh Penguins knocked off the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 in overtime of Game 7 to win the franchise's sixth Stanley Cup. The Penguins broke out to an early two-goal lead thanks to winger Brock Boeser's pair of goals in the first period, but the Oilers came storming back in the second period with depth scoring from star winger Zach Hyman and Trent Frederic picking a great time to score his first of the playoffs.
"It wouldn't be an overstatement to say we needed to regroup for the third period," commented defenseman Erik Karlsson. "They score in bunches and just take all the momentum out of you. We needed to readjust and keep playing winning hockey."
The Penguins and Oilers fought to a deadlock in the third period, unable to take the lead despite rookie Sam Poulin ringing one off the far post and Oilers captain Connor McDavid breaking in all alone on a breakaway but being denied by Penguins' goalie John Gibson.
It felt only right that this game would require extra time, and the two teams continued to battle - trading opportunities with ferocious physicality.
An Erik Karlsson-outlet pass skipped past the stick of Oilers defense Brett Kulak, landing on the stick of Emil Bemstrom, who broke in all alone and beat Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner, beating him to the far post. Pandemonium hit the building.
The first Stanley Cup championship won during the Sidney Crosby/Evgeni Malkin era that was won in Pittsburgh.
"It was about damn time," said assistant captain Kris Letang. "Always finishing things on the road, our fans were due a Stanley Cup championship on home ice. This is as much for them as it is for us."
The Penguins came into the season being called too old, that their championship window had been closed for years. That Malkin should retire. That Crosby should request a trade and go to a more competitive team.
Evgeni Malkin was named Playoff MVP. Sidney Crosby is now a four-time Stanley Cup champion. Their legacies are ironclad. And their window might not be as closed as you think.
