Hometown Kid Joshua Kelley drafted by Chargers in 4th Round
The Los Angeles Chargers selected UCLA running back Joshua Kelley with the 112th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The former Bruin finished the 2019 season with 229 carries, 1060 yards and 12 touchdowns. During his junior year, he rushed for 1243 yards and 12 scores earning honorable mention All-Pac-12 and team MVP honors in the process.

At the Senior Bowl, Kelley gained 105 yards on 15 touches.

Born in Inglewood, CA, Kelley grew up in Lancaster and now gets to stay home in L.A. with the Bolts.

Chargers Select Virginia WR Joe Reed in 5th Round
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Virginia wide receiver Joe Reed with the 151st overall pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Reed joins a wide receiving corps led by Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. He appeared in 48 career games for the Cavaliers, catching 129 passes for 1465 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Last season, Reed led Virginia with 77 catches while adding 679 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. He also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and was named first-team All-ACC as both a return specialist and all-purpose player.

Reed is UVA's all-time record holder in kick return yardage (3,042) and kick return touchdowns (five). At the NFL Scouting Combine, Reed ran a 4.47 40-yard dash.

Chargers Select S Alohi Gilman in Sixth Round
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Notre Dame safety Alohi Gilman with the 186th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Gilman started all games for the Fighting Irish in his junior and senior seasons in 2018 and 2019 after transferring from the Naval Academy.

In 2018, he logged 95 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, five pass breakups and three forced fumbles. As a senior, he notched 74 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, three pass breakups and three forced fumbles.

Gilman is the latest Golden Domer to be drafted to the Chargers after Isaac Rochell in 2017, and Jerry Tillery and Drue Tranquill in 2019.

Chargers Select Ohio State WR K.J. Hill in Seventh Round
With their final selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers selected Ohio State wide receiver K.J. Hill.

Hill is the second wide receiver selected by the Chargers in the draft. He appeared in 50 career games for the Buckeyes and set the school's all-time receptions record with 201, previously held by David Boston. He also added 2332 career receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.

Hill won three consecutive Big Ten championships with Ohio State from 2017-2019. He logged three 100-yard games in college, including nine catches, 187 yards, and 2 touchdowns against Minnesota in 2018.
