Arkansas @ Colorado State
August 25th, 2018 3:30PM
Sonny Lubick Field at Colorado State Stadium - Fort Collins, Colorado
Last Three Meetings: 9/29/90 Ark 31-20, 9/15/79 Ark 36-3, 10/26/74 Ark 43-9
Colorado State 2017: 5-7(2-7 MWC)
Head Coach: Jim McElwain 28-45 @ CSU, 28-45 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
FS Zach Thomas (84)
DE Kyle Nobles (82)
CB Joshua McDougal (81)
Outlook: Arkansas looks to have the advantage on paper but they are on the road and it's their first game with a new coaching staff. I think we get the win but it could be ugly.
@
North Texas @ Arkansas
September 1st, 2018 12:00PM
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Last Three Meetings: 9/29/07 Ark 66-7, 9/20/03 Ark 31-7, 10/28/72 Ark 42-16
North Texas 2017: 2-10(1-7 CUSA)
Head Coach: Charlie Taafe 0-0 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
TE Jared Lindsey (85)
QB Brandon Bowling (84)
HB Robert Whitaker (82)
Outlook: Similar to the Colorado State game this is very winnable on paper. Arkansas should be a more talented team and being the home opener should have them ready to play. Again a possibly ugly win for the Razorbacks.

Tulsa @ Arkansas
September 8th, 2018 10:00PM
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Last Three Meetings: 11/3/12 Ark 19-15, 11/1/08 Ark 30-23, 9/6/03 Ark 45-13
Tulsa 2017: 4-8(3-5 American)
Head Coach: Noel Mazzone 4-8 @ Tulsa, 6-18 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
HB Nick Lawson (89)
FS Steve Bolden (85)
WR Ed Foster (82)
Outlook: Tulsa and Arkansas actually look to be pretty evenly matched. This is a game I could see going either way.
@
Arkansas @ Vanderbilt
September 15th, 2018 6:00PM
Vanderbilt Stadium - Nashville, Tennessee
Last Three Meetings: 9/13/14 Vandy 35-24, 10/29/11 Ark 31-28, 10/30/10 Ark 49-14
Vanderbilt 2017: 4-8(2-7 SEC)
Head Coach: Chris Ash 6-18 @ Vanderbilt, 6-18 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
HB Leroy Stephens (87)
FS Eric Webb (82)
LB Jeremy Joseph (77)
Outlook: Arkansas looks to be more talented but it's their conference opener and it's on the road at night so this is another one I could see going either way for the Razorbacks. These toss up games will be ones they really need to win to have a successful season and get into a bowl. Fun matchup between Davis and former assistant Ash.

Key Players (PFF Grade)
QB Kenny Goddard (91)
CB Nathan Gutierrez (90)
WR Jimmie Bush (84)
Outlook: Texas A&M is a more talented team, maybe not by a ton but they are and they've had the advantage as of late.

South Carolina @ Arkansas
October 6th, 2018 4:30PM
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Last Three Meetings: 12/12/15 SCAR 27-24, 10/11/14 SCAR 45-21, 11/10/12 SCAR 38-20
South Carolina 2017: 7-6(4-5 SEC, W Music City Bowl over Virginia 56-31)
Head Coach: Mark Hudspeth 34-19 @ SCAR, 128-51 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
DE Max Stewart (94)
CB Curtis Bowen (93)
WR Paul Hughes (92)
Outlook: South Carolina has a really good squad. Arkansas being the home team gives them a shot but I still think SC takes this one.
@
Arkansas @ Alabama

Bryant-Denny Stadium - Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Last Three Meetings: 10/14/17 Bama 49-27, 10/15/16 Bama 62-42, 10/17/15 Bama 37-13

Head Coach: Hugh Freeze 52-28 @ Ole Miss, 82-35 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
DE Tim Barnett (92)
LB Shane Motley (88)
TE James Rich (87)
Outlook: Much like the SC game I think Ole Miss is the better team but being in Arkansas helps. I'm going to call this one an Arkansas win!
@
Arkansas @ Auburn
October 27th, 2018 4:30PM
Jordan-Hare Stadium - Auburn, Alabama
Last Three Meetings: 10/28/17 Aub 49-28, 10/29/16 Ark 31-28, 10/31/15 Ark 45-21
Auburn 2017: 7-6(3-6 SEC, W Little Caesars Bowl 21-18 over Eastern Michigan)
Head Coach: Hank Hughes 7-6 @ Auburn, 7-6 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
QB John Ridgeway (93)
CB Rashaad Ervin (93)
LB Steven King (91)
Outlook: Auburn on the road may be our toughest game besides Alabama. Loss.
@
Arkansas @ Navy
November 3rd, 2018 10:00PM
Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium - Annapolis, Maryland
Two Meetings All-Time: 9/29/84 Ark 33-10, 9/18/82 Ark 29-17
Navy 2017: 8-5(5-3 American, W Independence Bowl over ECU 27-20)
Head Coach: Ken Nuimatalolo 78-53 @ Navy, 78-53 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
LB Shawn Brown (88)
FS Adam Callahan (88)
QB Nate Jones (82)
Outlook: This is a total wildcard game. This game was one that Porter Davis swapped out for an FCS game when he was hired. He has said before he loves to play the service academies so no surprise that he pursued this game. I'm going to call this one a toss up as well.
@
Mississippi State @ Arkansas
November 10th, 2018 12:30PM
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Last Three Meetings: 11/18/17 Ark 41-31, 11/12/16 MST 24-17, 11/21/15 Ark 35-3
Mississippi State 2017: 7-6(3-6 SEC, W Military Bowl over Ohio 59-24)
Head Coach: Dan Mullen 67-49 @ MSU, 67-49 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
CB Zach Massey (89)
QB Leon Goode (89)
WR Zach Harrison (89)
Outlook: The sixth game of a six week run for Arkansas with no weeks off. Tough late in the season in the middle of conference play. Mississippi State probably has a bit more talent and even though it's in Arkansas I think we lose this one.
@
Arkansas @ LSU
November 24th, 2018 3:30PM
Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Last Three Meetings: 11/25/17 LSU 44-0, 11/26/16 LSU 41-35, 11/28/15 Ark 28-13
LSU 2017:9-4(7-2 SEC, L Capital One Bowl to Michigan State 28-17)
Head Coach: Matt Limegrover 9-4 @ LSU, 19-7 Career
Key Players (PFF Grade)
HB Warren Jones (98)
WR Micheal Hall (95)
CB Tim Jones (90)
Outlook: Season finale at home. Bowl bid possibly on the line. Rivalry game. Just not enough. Limegrover and LSU get the better of Arkansas and Davis in the first of what will hopefully be a long rivalry for these two.
Season Outlook: I'm hoping for six wins and an invite to a decent bowl. Anything more will be a great season and even if we only win four games but play in close losses that's still a good season given the roster we have to work with right now.
