thought i was playing atl for a second. he was killing me. probably because i was too worried about shutting down the rest of the team. plus it didnt help that my best defender (dejounte) was got in early foul trouble and had to sit

Draft Preview: 2021 Class Profiles
It's never too early to talk NBA draft!
This series will be breaking down some of the top prospects in this upcoming offseason's NBA draft. Ideally, we'll hit the top 30 players that are projected to go in the first round over the course of the regular season.
Today we start with the cream of the crop. At the moment, these are the top five projected prospects.
• • •
NBA Draft Big Board
SF Shareef Rose / All-Around Wing, UCLA
6'9" / 203 lbs / Projected: No. 1
The defacto number one selection here should be Rose. His player comp is Michael Porter Jr., but he is as much of a guarantee we have seen since Kevin Durant.
It's hard to compare someone to one of the greatest players in the history of the game, but Rose's best case scenario would be for him to pan out as the next Kevin Durant. He's an outstanding scorer with terrific length and size. Not only that, but he's a good on-ball defender.
The worst case scenario player comp for Rose would be Harrison Barnes, which is a pretty high floor.
Main Strengths: Size, shooting, scoring, defense, length, playmaking, athleticism / Main Weaknesses: Strength
• • •
PG Stephon Meriweather / Playmaking PG, JDA Dijon Basket (France)
6'4" / 198 lbs / Projected: Top 3
Born in Bruges, Belgium, and raised in France, Meriweather is at the top of the list when it comes to guard prospects.
Comping out as a similar player to Lonzo Ball, Meriweather has a nice all around game as a distributer with a little bit better scoring ability. Very smart team player.
Main Strengths: Court vision, IQ, size, speed, craftiness / Main Weaknesses: Outside shooting
• • •
SF Marvin Smith Jr. / 3-and-D Forward, UNC
6'9" / 253 lbs / Projected: Top 5
Marvin Smith Jr. is a burly wing defender with elite length and a knockdown jumper. He's the prototypical 3-and-D player every team is looking for. Because of that, Smith grades out as the most versatile fit in the draft that can fit with any team.
He's athletically gifted and can defend multiple positions on the floor. With similar size and structure to Draymond Green, Smith could easily see some action at the 5-spot.
With some work to his game, Marvin Smith Jr. could fall anywhere between Khris Middleton to Robert Covington, to Jerami Grant in terms of his player comparison.
Main Strengths: Outside shooting, defense, strength / Main Weaknesses: Playmaking
• • •
PF Alonzo Oriakhi / Stretch Four, UConn
6'10" / 228 lbs / Projected: Top 5
Oriakhi is a tall lefty with range. Not as good of a defender as Jaren Jackson Jr., but he has a very similar offensive game. He has great length and good athleticism and has a high floor to contribute right away.
Wingspan is out of this world at almost 8 feet long, should contribute as a shot disruptor in the paint and on the perimeter.
Main Strengths: Size, wingspan, outside shooting, rebounding / Main Weaknesses: Finishing, low post
• • •
SG Devonte' Brown / Scoring Wing, Kentucky
6'7" / 207 lbs / Projected: Top 5
'DB' is a walking bucket. If he follows suit to what he's shown throughout his amateur career, Brown looks like a stereotypical future sixth man of the year award winner. He has the ability to drop 40 right now, but so does whoever he's guarding. Absolute scorcher from the corners.
His razzle dazzle play style is similar to the likes of Lou Williams, Terrance Ross, J.R. Smith, Jamal Crawford, Tyler Herro, or worst case scenario, Dion Waiters. Best case scenario for Brown is that he turns into the next Devin Booker or Bradley Beal.
Main Strengths: Scoring, shooting, finishing / Main Weaknesses: Defense, discipline, IQ
