With Mahinmi being the only Center on the roster, it's likely Storm's GM Agent will make another Center appear before their match with Toronto on Wednesday.
:dead: are you summoning a replacement center from another world or something?

But for real Mahinmi going down leaves you realllllly thin at the 5. I wonder who you'll, as you put it, "make appear" for you for at least the next 2 months or so

Hell yes I'm going to summon him. Straight from the boneyard. It's not time for retirement yet. Satan needs you one last time.

Storm Sign 15-Year NBA Veteran Al Jefferson To 1-Year Deal After Mahinmi Injury

Image
Al Jefferson averaged 7 PPG in 36 appearances for the Pacers last season.

The Storm were forced to address an already noticable issue much earlier after Ian Mahinmi went down with an ankle injury. He was the team's lone center, and while it is interesting to see the different lineups of small ball they can run, his presence keeps them grounded defensively.

Without Mahinmi, their roster begins to look small, with the next tallest players on the roster being Alex Poythress and Luke Babbitt at 6' 9".

The Storm were able to sign the 15-year old NBA veteran Al Jefferson to a 1yr/$2.40M deal. He will wear #25. Jefferson will suit up in the Storm's upcoming match against the Raptors, but will be worked in from the bench. 3-year pro Alex Poythress will start at the 5.

JR's only 3 and also the first shot of the game. When he was still 1/1 from 3 :crybaby:

Image

Poythress wants to stay on an NBA team. He's tired of short term deals. This hustle is going to land him a multi-year deal.

Shabazz don't jump! Too late.
