Can't Ban the Snowman: The Legend of Tony Snow
NOTES & QUOTES
Heat Starting Five: Antonio Snow, Mikal Bridges, Josh Richardson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hassan Whiteside
Summary: The Charlotte Hornets came into this game sitting at .500 and were looking to bounce back from a loss to Milwaukee three nights ago. Antonio Snow came out hot, hitting his first five shots as the Miami Heat looked to make quick work of the Hornets. However, the Hornets were not going away quietly and managed to cut a double-digit lead down to just five points while Antonio Snow was on the bench.
Free throws kept Charlotte in the game as they were down by just three points with forty-five seconds left in the fourth quarter. Kemba Walker and Nicholas Batum both missed opportunities to tie the game before Carmelo Anthony flushed a two-handed dunk to push the lead to five with 30 seconds left in regulation. Charlotte went 15 of 35 from three-point range. Miami’s bench was led by Anthony who scored 19 of their 42 bench points.
Antonio Snow on Carmelo Anthony’s big dunk to seal the win: I mean, I can’t believe this guy wants to retire. Did you see him tonight? He’s still got it. He was everywhere we needed him to be.
Carmelo Anthony on Antonio Snow’s comment about his retirement: Every week since I’ve announced it, the kid has tried to convince me to stay on. I’m at peace with it. Those 19-point nights aren’t as consistent as I’d like to make me change my mind.
Kemba Walker on going head to head with Antonio Snow: Always a challenge. He’s probably one of the most frustrating and fierce competitors at this position right now. And so to go up against him and try to get the best of him every night is always exciting.

Good dubs in here. Any thoughts about roster changes at this point in the season?
Who else would you say has the best chance at competing for the title in here?
