I feel like the simcast thing generates higher scores, one of the more seasoned 2k guys would know better

Not necessarily true. Dialing back fast breaks, pace, and possessions, you can numbers you're looking for. Simcasted a few matches in my Magic chise and came out to be what I expected. Just a matter of settings tbh.

I think that might be the case for younger guys. I tuned the salary expectations down so they wouldn't get anywhere near the contract they'd get in the NBA. After the seasons, I'll probably put the higher rated guys back in the NBA's FA pool to see if they get signed and go from there.
