We ready.
Creek: SZN 1
Thanks for the interest fellas. Post 4 & 5 is updated with more backstory and a dinger I came across on BR, should make things interesting
Now for chapter one: To find a team
Creek: SZN 1
Solid trade all around for all teams involved. Dame time out East
Creek: SZN 1
Definitely, which peaked my interest in the first place. Shout out to BR for the Smoove GM moves lol
As a fan of the Magic, I'm interested to see how they shape out with Tyler & Pablo. They got so many young pieces still even after giving up Issac, Suggs, Okeke & Harris.

Yes sir! Now time will tell if this was a big pay off for any of them. I give a season or two for it to really settle in.

THE DEBUT
"Hey Dad, checking in to let you know I made it here safe."
"Glad you made it there safe and sound, son. I can how long the flight been."
"Eh, it was alright, I slept through majority of the flight. How's Mom?
"She's fine, worried sick about you. You know how she gets, first big adventure of yours alone and she gets antsy. But we're great. If anything, we're more excited about how things will turn out for you."
"Heh, yeah, I'm pretty stoked my-self. I honestly can't believe someone called for me. After my agent called, I had to jump on the chance."
"Always the opportunist you've been. So... A ten day contract, huh?"
"Yeah, that's what the deal is right now."
"You nervous?"
"Absolutely. I'm not one to get stage fright, but this is a pretty big deal for me, you know, kinda want to make the right impression."
"Well, in your line of work that you're seeking as a professional athlete, first impressions isn't always what it seems. So take that big pressure off of you, do what they ask of you and have fun out there. You know we'll be watching, kid."
"Thanks, Dad. Wished you guys could have came back to the states."
"I know, son, but it seems like I'll be stationed here a while longer. Nevertheless, we'll be back home before you know it. Few more years of service and my retirement is imminent. For now, I have your mother here to keep me on my toes."
"Sounds like a plan."
"All I need you to care about right now is your-self. Shape out the kind of life you wish to live and be the best you can be, professionally and personally. Make us proud, son."
"Hey, don't I always?"
"Yeah, don't think we've forgotten about that blunder of a mess you made back in high school."
"Hey, hey, I told you already, that girl was a scam artist. Anyone could've fallen for that."
"Yeah, buddy, speak for yourself. But, you'll learn. Keep living, keep failing until you succeed, more importantly, keep faith in yourself. You've came a long way since those injuries. Stay resilient."
-Bobby gets a text message to report to practice at 6 A.M.-
"I just got a text from the head coach, wants me to be up and early for practice."
"Then it sounds like you need to settle in and hit the hay. I'm glad you called, son."
"Same here, old man. Give mom a hug for me. I'll talk to you later."
-With a few hours left in the night, Bobby set up shop in hotel he'll be staying a few nights as the team had a few home games to muster through.-
"Well... I can't say I made it yet, but damn, the NBA, I'm finally here... I got to make the best of this, by any means... I hate to be that new guy to step on toes, if I have to, but so be it if it means I can secure a permanent stay. This town could be my big break, figuratively speaking, let's not jinx this."
