Nice 180 against Denver. looking at their roster vs. record it seems they are overachieving.

LA’s best receiver is Jakobi, come on now

Chargers offense runs rampant in Vegas as Fields leaves with injury
Any chance that the Raiders had at salvaging their season despite a five game winning streak quickly went out the window as the Los Angeles Chargers dominated their AFC West rivals on Sunday night, beating them 52-34.

The Chargers scored 24 unanswered points in the second quarter, including a pick six thrown by Justin Fields who would leave the game with an upper body injury that Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce hinted at possibly being season ending.

"We'll see if we get him back," an emotional Pierce said after the game, "I don't think it's a situation where we're going to be seeing him any time soon."

Aidan O'Connell replaced Fields, going 6 of 10 for 103 yards and leading two scoring drives.

Pierce's defensive unit had no answers for Austin Ekeler who rushed for 253 yards and had five runs of over 20 yards, not needing much from Justin Herbert in the second half after throwing two touchdowns in the first half.

Joe Burrow, Bengals make statement against Cleveland to salvage season
On the brink of starting the season 2-6 and being last place in the AFC North, the Cincinnati Bengals scored 56 points in their 39-point victory over rival Cleveland Browns to keep pace with the Pittsburgh Steelers for second place in the division and remain within striking range of the two wild card spots.

Burrow threw for 401 yards and six touchdowns with Adrian Phillips intercepting Deshaun Watson twice in what was an impressive performance from the defensive unit. The Bengals defense allowed just 17 points after entering the week as a bottom three defense, allowing 26.5 points per game.

The defense will need to continue improving as they face Kansas City and Baltimore in the next two weeks with their season continuing to be on the line.

Raiders work out Blaine Gabbert, sign Vikings practice squad QB Malik Cunningham amid Justin Fields injury
The Las Vegas Raiders have signed quarterback Malik Cunningham from the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad following confirmation that starting quarterback Justin Fields will be out for likely a month with a torn abdomen. They demoted defensive tackle Nesta Jada Silvera to their practice squad to free up the roster space.

The team initially feared that Fields would be out for the season but the prognosis was more positive than expected with Fields likely to play again this season. Fields had just signed a four-year extension with the team prior to the injury and was on pace for a career season as a passer.

The Raiders invited quarterback Blaine Gabbert for a workout, who spent the offseason with the Raiders and was competing for the backup job with Aidan O'Connell, but ultimately signed Cunningham who will back up O'Connell as Fields recovers from his injury. The team also had Joshua Dobbs and Max Duggan for workouts earlier this week as well.

Cunningham spent the 2023 season on the practice squad with New England and Denver before signing with Minnesota in the offseason and making their practice squad.

The Raiders will also be without running back Miyan Williams for close to a month, promoting Zonovan Knight to their active roster and demoting Moose Muhammad III.
