Sunderland Agree to Sell Nazariy Rusyn to Gent

Sunderland have agreed to sell 25 year old striker Nazariy Rusyn to KAA Gent for £2M. He will complete his transfer at the beginning of next season, after a year with Sunderland in which he rarely featured in the side. When manager Brendan Rodgers shifted to a 4-3-3 false 9 formation, the need for a traditional striker like Rusyn was removed and as such he has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club.
