For the first time in weeks, the balance of power has shifted in both the Chise and Chiser rankings. This week’s update features a new #1 in the weekly charts, a handful of fresh faces making noise, and the steady dominance of a few familiar names in the overall standings.
Dale Denton’s Rise
The biggest story of the week is Dale Denton | The Legacy | Junior Year by The JZA, which surged from #7 to claim the top spot in the Weekly Chise Rankings. Strong engagement from a wide variety of readers helped push the Legacy into the spotlight, edging out Ex Libertate Veritas (redsox907), which holds firm at #2 overall and remains the most consistent chise in the community this season.
Caesar’s Double Threat
It’s hard to ignore the week Caesar just had. Dirty Dogs continues to sit near the top of both weekly and overall rankings, and his baseball project, Hurry Up Tomorrow, vaulted straight into the top 5 at #4 weekly after missing out last week. With two separate works charting highly, Caesar also takes over the #1 spot in the Weekly Chiser Rankings, edging out redsox907 in a razor-thin margin.
New Faces Enter the Chat
A couple of debuts shook things up: It’s Miller Time by Deuce2223 arrives at #5 weekly, while The Nine Islands from YaBoyRobRoy reentered at #9 weekly. Captain Canada’s latest, The Reclamation Initiative, rounds out the new additions to the weekly rankings this week, sneaking in at #10. The churn in the middle of the pack shows just how competitive this is shaping up to be.
Overall Consistency
Despite the shake-ups in the weekly charts, the Overall Chise Rankings remain anchored by the usual suspects. Ex Libertate Veritas by redsox907 remains the undisputed #1, while Soapy’s Gap Down Backer and Caesar’s Dirty Dogs hold steady in the top 3. JZA’s Dale Denton continues its climb, now up to #4 overall.
In the Overall Chiser Rankings, Soapy still reigns supreme at #1, but Caesar is hot on his heels at #2. Agent, redsox907, and The JZA round out the top 5, with Deuce2223 making his first appearance in the top 25 at #24.
