Hopefully we can stay near the top with the road courses coming up. I have run a few laps here and there on the road courses and I am exponentially better there now with the wheel than I was with the controller.

MCQUEEN SWEEPS STAGES AND OUTDUELS HEIM AT MICHIGAN

LOGAN MCQUEEN III STARTS 3RD, SWEEPS BOTH STAGES, AND HOLDS OFF HEIM FOR THE WIN IN BROOKLYN
Logan McQueen III turned a front-row pace into a complete performance, driving the No. 51 JF Electric / Peak Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado to victory in the DQS Staffing & Solutions 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
After qualifying third behind Corey Heim and Kyle Busch, McQueen wasted no time showing long-run strength. He took the lead early and captured the Stage 1 win, then backed it up by dominating Stage 2 as well. A late green-flag run brought Heim back into the picture, but McQueen managed the clean air and traffic perfectly over the final laps, keeping the No. 11 at bay to seal his fifth win of the season.
With the win McQueen moves into first place on wins while Heim still has the edge in total points.
“This JF Electric Chevy was a rocket all afternoon,” McQueen said on pit road. “We knew track position would matter, so once we got to the front it was about clean exits and not making mistakes. Corey kept us honest there at the end, but our long-run balance was money. Huge credit to everyone at Peak Motorsports.”

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES RACE RECAP
MillerTech Battery 200 | Pocono Raceway
MCQUEEN GAMBLES ON FUEL, HOLDS OFF THE FIELD TO WIN AT POCONO

LOGAN MCQUEEN III OVERCOMES TOUGH QUALIFYING, EXECUTES A BRILLIANT STRATEGY CALL TO EARN HIS SIXTH WIN OF THE SEASON
Logan McQueen III turned what began as an uphill battle into one of his most impressive wins of the season, capturing the MillerTech Battery 200 at Pocono Raceway after a daring fuel strategy call by crew chief Alex Ward.
The No. 51 JF Electric / Peak Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado started 13th after an off-the-pace qualifying session that left McQueen searching for grip and track position. But once the green flag waved, he methodically worked through the field, finishing 9th in Stage 1 and 7th in Stage 2, collecting valuable stage points while keeping his truck in contention.
As the final stage wore on, McQueen was running just outside the top ten when fuel numbers began to look tight across the field. That’s when Alex Ward made the bold call: stay out and stretch it to the end.
“We crunched the data and thought we could just make it,” McQueen said. “He asked if I was comfortable with the gamble on tires and fuel, and I told him, ‘Let’s go for it.’”
The decision proved to be a masterstroke. McQueen conserved fuel perfectly while keeping enough pace to stay ahead of the charging field. As his truck sputtered exiting Turn 3 on the final lap, he coasted across the line just ahead of Stewart Friesen and Corey Heim, securing a dramatic victory, his sixth win of the season.
“It was nerve-wracking, man,” McQueen said after the race. “That last lap felt like it would never end. We were running on fumes, literally. But I’ve got to give credit to this whole JF Electric and Peak Motorsports team. They nailed the call, and it paid off. These are the kind of wins that build championships.”

They Said It
Logan McQueen III: “We didn’t have the short-run pace early, but we kept grinding and trusted our numbers. When Alex said we could stretch it to the end, I just focused on hitting my marks and saving every drop. It worked, we were coughing coming to the line. Just an awesome job by this JF Electric team.”
Corey Heim: “We had another fast truck and were right there at the end. Logan and his team rolled the dice, and it paid off for them. That’s racing, you have to take those risks sometimes.”
