Tiny Jimenez had Los Angeles on their feet with this thunderous jam in his last visit to the Intuit Dome during the regular season.
LOS ANGELES — In their previous matchup, Zaccharie Risacher sank the game-winning triple to the give the Clippers the win. Tonight, the Phoenix Suns had other plans as they steamrolled the Clippers in front of their home crowd.
Leading the game in scoring was Suns' point guard, Tiny Jimenez, who played his last game in the Intuit Dome tonight.
"After our last meeting, we all agreed there's no way that's happening again. You see how it went down." he said to DS.net after the final horn.
"Our defense showed up tonight. We showed what this team is capable of when we're all on the same page." LeBron James said in the post-game press conference.
The Suns held the Clippers to just 79 points, the lowest score they've allowed this season. Prior to that, the Suns held the Utah Jazz to just 80 points on November 10th.
It was a big blow for the Los Angeles Clippers tonight as their starting point guard Lance Wilcox went down with a knee injury in the first half & did not return to the game. The medical staff has diagnosed him with twisted right knee, & is not expected to suit up tomorrow as the Clippers travel to Phoenix for a back-to-back game against the Suns.
