Nice start so far. Love the Flagg and Dybantsa pairing longterm, and for the time being Kyrie playing like Kyrie is making your team more than formidable.

Thanks! The Flagg/Dybantsa pairing is scary, for sure, and Kyrie has been as talented as I could have expected coming off of knee surgery, but as you’ll see in my next update our performance isn’t holding strong.

I was looking around the league for potential Kyrie destinations and none really stick out to me. Teams that are making playoff pushes already have serviceable point guards. Teams that are out of the playoff race won’t want to trade for an older guard. And teams like Boston, Cleveland and Brooklyn aren’t exactly looking for a 2nd go-around with the mercurial malcontent.

Yeah, you're in a tough spot with Kyrie for sure. Unloading him for draft capital will be tough given his history. Dammed if you dammed if you don't. Playing him could make you too good to land one more top pick in the 2027 draft. Of Course Flagg's natural improvement and the addition of Dybantsa may make you too good (even without Kyrie) to land a high lottery pick. Can't exactly not play him unless he's injured.

Hopefully it'll improve or you'll find something. Or maybe the injury gods will take a visit and hand Kyrie another longterm injury.

I think unless you guys suddenly fall to the bottom you hold onto the main guys and try for the play-in. Would seem like the natural progression, rather than cut veterans for a better pick

With Kyrie we aren’t exactly blowing doors, but I’m not going to swindle the CPU into an unrealistic trade just to get something for him. I think most likely he spends the rest of the season with us and walks away for nothing. Mating I can find some salary folder from a playoff team and grab a 2nd just to make sure we don’t lose him for absolutely nothing.

I agree. Regardless of the potential treadmill status of this season, get the young guys some playoff experience. Flagg+Dybantsa could definitely just naturally develop into a contending dynamic duo on their own with the right players around them.

If Kyrie returns to All-Star form then Dallas is going to breakout this season & might even be a contender.

Flagg gotta clean up that 1/7 from range, but had a solid performance no doubt

If Cooper can up his 3P% to even 35%, he’s going to be nearly unguardable. I would love to see that day.

I absolutely need to focus on ways to get Kyrie going as well. I absolutely could be better at having him driving offense.
