Ingolstadt Agree to Sell Felipe Augusto to Sevilla for Club Record €50M


Augusto has been great for Ingolstadt but with the change in formation his services were no longer needed.

Recently Ingolstadt has made a switch from a 4-2-2-2 to a 3-4-2-1 system, and with that switch they have gone from playing two strikers to playing just one up front. Sabrina Wittman has shown a preference for Nicolo Tisoldi up front due to his pace and Felipe Augusto has become a bench player as a result. The 22 year old Brazilian is simply too talented to play that small of a role and knew it so he asked for a move. Ingolstadt have obliged after deep discussions with both Galatasaray and Sevilla and agreed to sell the player to the Spanish side for a club record sale of €50M.

Ingolstadt Strengthen Back Three with €8.5M Deal for Samson Baidoo


Augusto has been great for Ingolstadt but with the change in formation his services were no longer needed.

With the switch to the 3-4-2-1, Ingolstadt needed to strengthen the back three, particularly on the right hand side with captain Besuschkow taking control of the middle and Cvjetinovic holding down the left. The 22 year old Austrian, Baidoo, joins the club from Havre AC as an instant starter and key figure in that backline, and will hopefully be instrumental to the club trying to secure a European spot and possibly even mount a title challenge for the rest of the season.

Ingolstadt Sign American Wonder-Kid, Kevin Paredes for €16M


Paredes came up through the DC United Academy and played for Wolfsburg and Marseille before joining Ingolstadt.

Ingolstadt already have Almugera Kabar at left wing-back, who's been a solid option for them there this season. However, the club wanted to get stronger there with the new 3-4-2-1 system and has done so by securing the services of 22 year old American left wing-back, Kevin Paredes. Paredes possesses blistering pace and dribbling ability, an eye for a pass, and a fundamental desire to get back and defend as well. He is the perfect option for the position and to signify the significance of the signing, he has been given the #7 shirt to wear.

23 year old Ivorian midfielder, Amane, joins from Guingamp.

Ingolstadt continue to use the €50M fee received from Felipe Augusto to strengthen the squad. They have made another move, adding Ivorian midfielder, Romeo Amane to the squad. The 23-year old will challenge Kanuric for the starting RCM positio. He's an all action midfielder with an insane engine, defensive instincts and a eye for goal. He makes an excellent pairing with starting LCM, Jack McGlynn's, more finesse style. The player joins for a €9M fee and will earn €25K per week at the club.
