vs. Maryland (6-3): L 35-34
at Georgia State (2-6): W 31-13
vs. FCS: W 38-17

vs. Virginia Tech (5-3): L 31-25
at NC State (4-4): L 21-19
vs. Syracuse (4-4): W 14-10

Team Leaders
Passing: Lynn Landolt 60 cmp%, 1773 yards, 7 TD, 8 INT, 126 passer rating
Rushing: Chad Darrisaw 809 yards, 5.1 ypc, 15 TD
Receiving: Caleb Spitz 26 receptions, 458 yards, 3 TD
Defense: Alfonso Artmore 51 tackles, 4 INT, 4 PBU

Injuries
Image LT Neil Pryor (Junior) Broken Collarbone (Out)
Image DT Shaquille Pullard (Sophomore) Abdominal Tear (Out)
Image LT Miles Shembo (Junior) Dislocated Hip (Out)

Players to Watch
Image QB Lynn Landolt (R-Sr) | 6′0", 203LBS | 89 OVR, 79 SPD, 91 ACC, 86 AWR, 92 THP, 87 SAC, 87 MAC, 78 DAC
A bit of a reunion here as Landolt was recruited by Stanford head coach Bubba Mack coming out of high school and nearly picked Kennesaw State but ultimately went with Wake Forest where he's patiently waited for his turn. He hasn't played well this season with multi interception games against Virginia and North Carolina but the talent is there for Landolt who can escape pressure and has a big arm.

Image WR Caleb Spitz (R-Soph) | 6′4", 207LBS | 84 OVR, 94 SPD, 93 ACC, 84 CTH, 94 RLS
Spitz is an impressive athlete that will be matched up against true freshman Kentrell Marvin in the slot. Spitz' combination of size and speed makes him a tough cover and Landolt isn't afraid to throw him some jump balls as he does a great job of winning contested catches. Wake Forest's best path to winning is staying on the field and keeping Stanford's offense off it so Spitz will be key in converting those third downs.

Image EDGE Rico Bourne (Jr) | 6′2", 224LBS | 78 OVR, 87 SPD, 93 ACC, 84 STR, 75 PMV, 77 FMV, 89 BSH
Stanford is without star left tackle Neil Pryor in this game so Bourne gets a first-time starter going against him in true freshman Joe Nunn. Bourne has 6.5 sacks on the season and is an athletic pass rusher that has great bend and beats tackles with his speed. A converted linebacker, Stanford will need to challenge him in the running game and see how he holds up against the former four-star prospect.

Hard Rock Bet™
Spread: Stanford -20.5
Moneyline: Wake Forest +950

Place your bets and I'll keep track of your winnings/loss throughout the season. At the end of the year, I'll either name a recruit after you or give your favorite team a ratings' bump or dealers' choice.

The Bookie

Stanford with the over, only way you don't hit the over is if you choose to not run it up on these guys.
